After day 1 we didn't like one of the colors we had chosen after seeing it on the walls. We talked with George about it and he was very accommodating, and just wanted to make sure we would be happy with the final results. Once walls were stripped and repaired, they used quality Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams paints. The house was kept clean and tidy. "excellent - we lucked out with Sam and his crew for painting exterior of our house. We got their estimate several weeks before but undecided. He called back fortuitously on the last warm weekend of fall 2016. We had negotiated initial price, but turned out we wanted more work than original spec. Turned out we got everything we wanted and they had excellent recommendation to paint gutter and fix rotted out wood on porch and window sills. It was paint and repair throughout and they did a thorough job. They got custom color that we wanted, repaired porch, scraped old paint from sills and replaced rotted wood framing for side door to garage. They did excellent job in scraping and painting our patio french doors which had water damage - made them look new. Neighbors remarked what a good job they did...it made the house look like new. "Delbert and his team did an outstanding job. I initially hired him to replace the trex on my deck. When he came to give the estimate, I was very impressed with his observations on the problems with the original installation and his explanation of how he would do the installation. Once he started the job, he uncovered rotten wood in the trim around the deck. We agreed that he should replace all of the rotten wood. He pointed out why the wood rotted and explained how he would replace that wood with better quality and primed wood that would last a lot longer and resist rotting. I watched him work and he was meticulous with his craft. I also ended up hiring him to take care of power washing the concrete architectural pieces on the front and back of my house. Again, he took the time to apply the bleach discretely and then power washed with water. The result was much cleaner than neighbors whose contractors did not take that approach. I highly recommend Delbert. You will be pleased with the results!"

"Our original contractor dropped off of the Facebook of the Earth, leaving us with mostly finished renovation and the new deck I started. I found 5thGen on Thumbtack and Christian was the most responsive and knowledgeable of the respondents to my search for fencing contractors. His team built me a gorgeous fenced-in urban oasis and the double lattice was his idea and custome made for our space. I’m attaching photos. He and his team then proceeded to repair our previous contractor’s errors (like installing new kitchen cabinets upside-down... really!) and did amaze my custome drywall work and mounding work. They even moved our challenger and you would never know the base had been relocated looking at the ceiling. Great great job, reliable and responsive on multiple projects for us since. Our relationship with 5thGen started at the end of 2015 and continues to date."
