"They installed beadboard on the walls of kitchen and dinette, reframed the windows, painted all the cabinets, walls, and trim. They subcontracted a plumber to install sink, countertops, light fixtures. They put up a beautiful backsplash all around my large kitchen. He put tile down on the floor around where my toilet was reset. He fixed my door that wouldn't close, He repaired a large crack in my bedroom wall, re-textured and painted it. You couldn't even tell where it was when he was through. They worked hard on an old shed by reroofing it. They put up new siding and built an extension to the overhang in my cattle pen for the cows to use. They cleaned out the shed and hauled all the trash off. They also cleaned out a tractor shed and hauled off all the trash. I cannot think of two other people who work as hard as they do. They are kind and considerate and care about their customers. I appreciate that their prices are competitive. I highly recommend them."

"Signed contract on April 30, 2011 Contract stated that the lead time was 10-12 weeks; Cody completed 2 small projects (pull out trash compartment and reconfigured shelves) on 6-11-11. Cody returned in July with dishwasher panel and to remeasure cabinet for bathroom and to verify changes to bedroom shelf units (addition of built-in drawers); he explained that he was running behind due to excessive summer heat & no A/C in his shop, but he'd be in touch with me. "Fast forward" to October-bathroom cabinet was completed, and on Dec 21st, the shelves, our final project, was completed.

My husband and I were pleased with each finished project. We were not pleased with the length of time it took to get the job done. I realize that he was faced with several obstacles during the process, which was unfortunate. I can not recommend Cody for large projects...possibly small projects suit him better. At any rate, we feel fortunate that our jobs were completed. If you choose to hire Cody, be prepared to test your patience."

We had let the master bath sit for almost 5 years due to extensive water damage because we couldn't find a contractor that understood what we wanted without charging us crazy money. They all kept saying "the best thing for you to do, is just throw a shell over it and cover up the window". Instead U-DIY said "we can give you just what you want and - by the way, would you like to cover up that hideous floor tile (mostly cracked) without having to use a jackhammer?". Uh - hello and thank you! My house will be paid up in about 5 years and U-DIY just upped my home value about $20k. You can't beat that."

That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. "I was having trouble getting a drywall repair done because everyone that I called was very busy and said it was going to be 4-6 weeks before they could do the repair. I called Cane at Dream Renovationz about 7pm on Thursday evening.  I really expected to leave a message, but to my surprise Cane actually answered the phone.  I told him that I needed drywall replaced/repaired in three different areas due to a washer/dryer add-on in the garage. I explained that I was having a great deal of trouble getting someone to do the job.  Cane said that normally they did not do small jobs, but he would try to help me out.  After talking again the next day, Cane said he would send his drywall contractor out on Saturday to do the job.  On Saturday, Cane and his drywall contractor arrived and Cane looked over the job.  He quoted me about $90 higher than the other two estimates I had received, but he was there and willing to do the job, so I agreed to the price. The contractor was very pleasant, and worked steady and was very careful.  At one point there was an electrical problem that came about when turning on a power tool. It seemed that either a plug was bad or a breaker was bad. Not sure what to do, I called Cane and explained the problem.  He showed up at my house and fixed the problem within a few minutes.  I was very impressed at his willingness to fix the problem and also impressed that he was able to identify and fix the electrical issue within a few minutes. The contractor finished the project and asked me if I was completely satisfied.  He wanted to make sure that I was happy before he left.  I was very happy with the work and would use this company again.  I really appreciate that Cane was able to help me out and do this small job for me. Cane was friendly and so was the contractor that actually did the work.
