The connection to the hood is a 4x10 fitting. It will run through the existing cabinet which is 24" directly into the ceiling. There it will make an immediate 90 degree turn and follow the truss for 48". The duct will then make another 90 degree turn and run 36" to connect to an existing external vent in the wall. The ductwork inside the cabinet will need to be trim out with wood to cover the duct and painted white to match the interior of the cabinet.
