Not only did he expertly install new lighting (heavy stuff, too!) but offer clever suggestions on how to add new wiring to install a new light over our kitchen stove, install new wiring and new light over our fireplace, add new wiring for a new outdoor light on our deck, and install new outdoor landscape lighting. Oh, he also repair/replaced our fluorescent lights in our basement that were intermittently going on and offer. I would hire Steve in a heartbeat for any electrical job. "After contacting S & S Electric via email and requesting price quote for labor only on installing a transfer switch for a portable generator, Steven responded quickly with a price quote and some simple questions about the job. I made an appointment for the installation and Steve and his colleague, Dave, arrived on the appointed day and time on schedule. It took them a total of 2 hours to install, wire and test the power going from my generator to the new switch and all the items I wanted to hook up for power. <br /> They even took a look and fixed a loose wire in a bathroom fixture for free. <br /> Steven was very good about explaining what I needed to do to use the switch, what issues to watch out for and maintenance tips for my generator.
