I finally got around to special ordering the replacement piece, and contacted Jim the Handyman to get it installed. Their office was extremely prompt and responsive about getting me an estimate and scheduling the service to be completed. I was very happy with the professionals they sent, as the work was done carefully, thoroughly, and with a full explanation at every step of the way. In assessing the project before starting, we noticed that some bathroom tiles also needed re-fixing to the floor, and this was completed at an additional cost. I would not say that Jim the Handyman was the cheapest vendor I found for this job, but I really appreciate the quality workmanship which was the real priority for me. I would hire them again for other small jobs."

"I needed a repair on a 17-foot ceiling, over a right-angle set of stairs, and had sought quotes from multiple websites (companies and brokers, or lists). Only two prospective hires responded. One from a different broker was unable to quote due to a car accident. The other respondent was Navids Construction team, who from start to finish was courteous, thoughtful, and professional. They were very careful not to harm or dirty my home or its contents. Most importantly, they practiced very safe construction...safe for the team and safe for my family. In consideration for my family, since the scaffolding had to stretch across widely spread banisters/railing they chose to get the work done in one day, to prevent my family from needing to walk under the scaffolding that night and next morning,. The repair was excellent: a new piece of sheetrock, smooth mudding, and paint. I will definitely hire Navids Construction again."

We knew there was some rotted wood, but found more as the project progressed, and although we thought we wanted the downspout painted white, once we saw it we realized it should have been painted to match the brick. The additional cost to replace the rotted wood (with pvc) was fair and the painters didn't grumble when I asked them to repaint the downspout - which required a 60 foot ladder! The painters checked all the window to make sure they would open and replaced the screens. The project took 3 weeks to complete and would have been finished sooner except for a few rain days. The clean up was good. I would definitely use Mr. Mendez again and recommend him without reservation."
