"Koality was great. Original cedar siding gave out after 35 years. No amount of repair and repainting was going to work. Replaced with James Hardie cement board lap siding, rustic series by Woodtone. Very difficult product to install properly without scratching the factory two-tone paint job. As well replaced 15 of the legacy windows with Pella's. Lots of cuts and detail work in the install. Koality did a really nice job, and their attention to detail and craftsmanship was evident throughout. For reference, recently visited an "open-house" of semi-custom homes near me; the quality of materials and the install that Koality performed on my home was in my opinion far superior to that of these new semi-custom homes that are selling in the $750,000 - $1,000,000 range."

"Everything went well. 4 windows and a patio door replaced. I called with the approximate window sizes (after having another contractor out who wanted way to much money for the windows.) They listened to exactly what I wanted and never tried to "up-sell" me into things I didn't want or need. After a quick discussion, my husband and I decided to go with them. They came out to verify sizes and sign the contract order. pricing came in right what I was estimated over the phone which is always good news. Once the windows were in we got delivery scheduled. They got all 4 windows and a patio door in within about 4 hours. They had several installers come so they could be done ASAP. I met Tom Higgins at the Denver Home expo and was very impressed with his industry knowledge.  He was professional and was concerned about what was important to me in residing my house.  I obtained 3 bids for the work and Tom's bid was inline with the other bids.  I decided to go with Tom because of his professionalism, honesty and integrity.  He outlined the process and was very thorough within his presentation.  The bid laid out all of the expectations and didn't leave much up to interpretation.  Compared to the other contractors, I could tell that Tom cared about the way he presented his business, and created clear expectations of the project.  Truth be told he was a little more expensive than the other bids we received, but the confidence that I had in him compared to the other contractors made it an easy decision.  Tom Higgins knows the business inside and out, will put your needs first and cares that the work is done right.
*The work*
The work started precisely within the timeframe that Tom gave us, and there were no surprises along the way.  Within a few days of the delivery of a dumpster, port-o-potty, and the permit work began on the house.  The crew worked very efficiently and had the entire house re-sheathed, wrapped and sided within 1 week.  Tom even included a "personal touch" in adding crown molding to our porch, which looks great!  Tom, and his wife Sherri, helped us pick the paint colors that match the existing features on our house, which was a big help too!  The painting crew (that Tom set up) arrived and had the house caulked, painted and finished within 3 days.  He truly took care of all the work from start to finish. 
*The Verdict*
There are too many ways to list how Tom took care of us through our siding project.  If you are looking for a contractor that you know will take care of your needs in a professional manner, and want to eliminate the fear of ending up with a poor finished product, then you have found your contractor.  It has long been said, "You get what you pay for", but in Tom's case, Superior Products delivers much much more."

"The deck building went well I think. It took 2 days for Blake and his work partner to complete the deck. They worked pretty fast; came in the morning and worked until about 4:30 or so. I liked the building materials that they used; seem to be very good quality. I did misunderstand however, how the steps would be finished, as Blake said he had quoted me a basic deck model which would not include a board on the front of each step, but the steps would rather remain open. I said that I had not understood that he was only quoting me a basic model, and I did want the steps to look more finished. So Blake got right on it and said that he would add boards to the front of each step, and he was not going to charge me for the labor; only the materials. I insisted on paying him something for the labor however, since he completed the steps the way that I wanted them later that same day. The end result is that I am very happy with my deck. Blake worked very hard to earn my business and was willing to match a little lower quote that I had received from another company. He actually called me a number of times before I decided to go with Maxey Construction, in an effort to earn my business. I would definitely use his company again for some future projects that I have inside of my home."
