Get matched with top deck or porch build or replacers in Allentown, NJ

"The job went very well and looked better than I imagined. I had a traditional pressure treated deck that was built 25 years ago. Maintenance was a nightmare to the point I stained the deck a solid color. This needed to be freshened up every couple of years. I tired of doing this chore so I contacted several contractors. Those contacted were not very enthusiastic and submitted extremely high bids without explaining exactly what materials they were using or a plan of attack. Brian of Carls Decking came with samples, brochures and a no nonsense explanation of what needed to be done to put me” in my happy place.” Brian inspected the frame and found it to still be level and in good shape. He suggested a total rip off of the planks and replacement of steps deck boards and railings. He even obtained the railing permit and made sure final inspection was handled. Pricing to do this type of renovation is not cheap but the final result was worth every penny! The crew that Brian sent over did an amazing job! The premises was cleaned up everyday when they left and all work was done in a very professional manner. I recommend Carl’s Decking very highly."

"Harvey was great to work with. He installed wainscoting in my powder room and replaced a bedroom door. I would highly recommend him."

"We had our walkways replaced & yard thoroughly landscaped with bushes & flowering perennials. He also repaired a drainage problem that was keeping a section of the lawn muddy. He listened to what we wanted while providing helpful solutions to problems. His team was professional & did an excellent job; cleaning up our yand at the end of every workday."

"I had an excellent experience with BHB NJ who I contracted to replace an old deck with a new one using modern materials and highly recommend them for patios and all other work. The team is very professional, were transparent during the contract process, and always showed up on time. Most importantly, they are committed to providing the highest quality work. and cleaned up beautifully after our awesome deck was completed. I have an old house and have done many projects inside and out and was very impressed with the quality of work and the professionalism of the BHB NJ team. In fact, we will have them back for other projects. They’re honest and a delight to work with. I always appreciate professionalism and high quality attention to detail workmanship, which is not easy to find. They’re truly Excellent *****"

"There arenâ t enough compliments we can give the John Millett Construction LLC. We had contacted Angiâ s list requesting quotes from construction companies that would rebuild our front porch. John Millett reached out to us and with a very reassuring voice said he would be out the next day to give us an estimate. We had previously interviewed six other companies and gasped at the ridiculousness of their estimates. We knew we were being taken advantage of and knew they were cutting corners with the materials they wanted to use. When John came to access our porch and give us his estimate, his Build/Improvement Proposal, we knew he was being extremely fair in his pricing and knew of the quality of the materials he guaranteed us he would use. We were grateful we had interviewed and received six other proposals because now we knew Johnâ s was fair and honest. We hired him on the spot and gave a deposit to secure the contract. John promised us a starting date but knew our porch was in dire need of restoration and he knew our apprehension in getting the porch done as soon as possible so he graciously agreed to start our job a week ahead of schedule. John and his crew of men, Toby, Alex, Oliver, Thomas and Eric were the most respectful work crew we have ever met. They always arrived on time and were extremely neat, polite and respectful of our neighborâ s properties and our property. John kept his word on every aspect of our rebuilding. He helped us pick out the right color for our flooring which basically set the tone of the entire porch. We discussed all different options for the columns and railings, John always offering the best way to go about it to make it look the most beautiful. On a daily basis he would keep us informed as to what was going to be done that day and the next, He and his entire team are skilled craftsmen, artisans and meticulous with every aspect of woodworking and painting. They worked from 8 am till 5 pm completely cleaning up after each day. They were super friendly, extremely kind, fun to get to know and very proud as they should be of their work. If something wasnâ t â just rightâ which was very rare, we were reassured it would be made perfect and it was. We now have an absolutely beautiful front porch. John did not cut corners as the other builders had proposed and it shows. Itâ s all the little meticulous touches John and the team did that makes our front porch the envy of all our neighbors. The end result is even more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. We wish we had more projects right now so that we could hire John Millett again. We donâ t at the moment but rest assured his number is on speed dial in my phone. It was an absolute pleasure hiring John and I encourage anyone who needs any type of remodeling, building, home improvements to not hesitate to use the John Millett Construction Company. Besides their expertise and knowledge of what is needed to make your home look beautiful, using quality materials, and being fair and honest from day one till completion, you will hire a great bunch of men who truly work laboriously to please their customer. We couldnâ t be happier with our beautiful new porch . Thank you John, Toby, Alex, Oliver, Thomas and Eric. Weâ re going to miss our coffee breaks!"

"We are absolutely thrilled with the deck NLH LLC built at our home. Bryan and team completely transformed the back of our home and we could not be happier! After we moved in we were struggling with the design of our back patio and how to maximize the space. Bryan quickly responded to our initial inquiry and put together a beautiful deck design with two staircases. The team took their time and they were meticulous with the quality of their work. Bryan kept us up-to-date throughout the project and helped us make informed decisions and choices. In addition to the new deck, the team drilled out old concrete and put down brand new sod. We ended up with a beautiful large deck and nearly doubled the size of our backyard! We couldnâ t be happier and would absolutely recommend NLH LLC!"

"Avora Outdoor Living did an excellent job on our concrete project. The team was professional, reliable, and delivered high-quality work. Everything was completed on time, and the final result exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend them for any concrete or outdoor project!"

"The work done was phenomenal and we couldn't have asked for a better front deck. We had an old rotted, wood front deck that was falling apart and way out of code. They came by, assessed the area with proper measurements, demolished and redid a whole new Trek and vinyl railings front deck. They worked well with my wife and I's desires and we couldn't be happier. Due to Covid, materials took much longer than expected, but once it was all said and done it was worth the wait. Jarci kept in great communication with us and made sure when the materials would come in and what would be done in the project. Definitely would hire again."
