"Overall it went extremely well.  We had a very short timeline to complete the remodel (4 weeks total).  We got several quotes from contractors on angie's list and our decision was based primarily on two items; cost and whether we thought the contractor could complete the project in 4 weeks.  We chose Bryan because he was very confident he could complete the job in the 4 week timeline.  He even committed in our contract to the date.  He was also one of the only contractors that provided us their quote when they said they would.  Bryan has a base crew of guys that you can tell are experienced in the work they do.  He did use subs for plumbing, electrical, flooring, and painting.  We had minor issues with the flooring and plumbing but, Bryan resolved the issues no questions asked.  We've done remodels in the past and there's always things that come up.  What impressed us about Bryan was how he handled the issues that came up.  He never tried to push the problem off on us.  Just this week we had a minor issue come up with a drain in the bathroom.  I emailed Bryan and he has his plumber out the next day to fix the issue...again no questions asked. This is after he had received full payment for all of his services.  It's hard to find contractors that are responsive after your don't owe them money.  We also added some items along the way and felt that Bryan gave us a very good price for the add ons.
We are VERY happy with the finished product.  Bryan created our dream home and we'd definitely recommend him to family and friends."

"Contractor provided excellent consultation on the type of upgrades and improvements we wanted to make during our project. Jeff was excellent at suggesting improvements to our bathroom shower, entrance and new vanity and cabinets. He offered excellent contractors that we used for new granite countertops for kitchen and bath areas. He also met us at Floor and Decor store and assisted our selection of new bathroom tile and flooring that was used to replace our ugly old carpet in our living room, dining room and hallway areas. Contractor coordinated scheduling of tile, cabinet, plumbing and countertop installations with all sub contractors selected for our project. We are extremely happy with the results of their work!"

"Frank returned our call within 24 hours and scheduled an appointment for an estimate of repairs. He was prompt and courteous. When repairs were made, Frank and his crew arrived when expected. Most of the back half of the roof metal had to be replaced due to removing the framework that held the solar panels. His crew removed the damaged metal from the roof starting in the afternoon and returned the next morning and finished all repairs in the early afternoon. They cleaned up the work area each day and left everything neat and orderly. The entire crew was professional, courteous, and efficient. It was a pleasure to have them do the work. Solarshield had originally installed the roof in 2005. His crew at that time was equally professional and great to work with."

"My husband and I found CER Design Build to be not just another
professional company but a professional company with a vision, listening ear to
our style and taste with a kick as Emeril would say, and the understanding that
we needed it to be in resale condition as well! We are not designers but just
know we want something nice and appealing in our master bath. CER Design Build
had a designer that hit it on the nail! It is a room we enter every day and
would like to have that wow factor without emptying all our savings. They were
able design something that would make us feel lush while staying within the
budget and still keeping within our taste and style of our mid-century
bungalow. Our bathroom has amazing appeal and yet does not look like it can?t
blend with the rest of the home for us to sell one day. We contacted several
contractors and they had great ideas but with big budgets AND we would be
forced to remodel the entire house in order to sell it because it was just way
too different from the remainder of the house that we knew we were not
changing. The quote we received was also more detailed than 90% of the quotes
we got which made us wonder if the other contractors were cutting corners and
not telling us exactly what they would be doing so we could not hold them accountable.
We understand that doing something the right way, especially when bringing
older homes up to code, can be a little tedious and require additional tasks
for a solid foundation but we want it to be something we are proud, safe, and
comfortable with and feel good about selling it to someone else. We have heard
many stories of homeowners half doing renovations and then it causes problems
for a future homeowner or their family that could have been avoided. We felt
CER Design build was not looking for a big project to just show off in a
picture but for a customer who could benefit having a balance of customer
immediate satisfaction, budget, and long term investment. Our long term
investment and desire to sell came to fruition and unfortunately we have sold
that home yet purchased another home where we do want to have a whole house
renovation. We are looking forward to CER Design Build making this house our
home and bringing it to life with a WOW factor that fits us.
