"I needed to replace my front brick steps from Brick to Concrete. We have been running into loose bricks, pretty much after each winter, to the extent that I was concerned about safety of visitors (my brother-in-law fell on a loose brick). Chris and crew showed up on time (like 1 min early!). And they did a great job taking all the bricks out and pouring concrete instead to give us a peace of mind and a good looking concrete steps. Throughout the process, Chris explained to me what is going on in detail and answered all my questions. I probably asked him the same question a few times and he patiently answered my questions. Chris is a master mason with specialty in concrete. He knows what he is doing and does it well. He is humorous, generous and a gentleman. Chris (personally) spent a lot of time power washing other areas of my pavers even though that was not part of the deal. I offered to pay him for it but he refused and said "I just want the place to look gorgeous when I leave. I highly recommend Chris and his team for any concrete / cement work."

"We couldn’t be happier with our new front stoop and sidewalk! They removed our old sagging stoop and rebuilt everything exactly how we wanted it, even adding a porch area that completely transformed the front of our home. The crew worked hard, stayed on schedule, and even pushed through rainy weather to get it done. The craftsmanship and attention to detail really show. Highly recommend this company!"

"We had an excellent experience with American Contracting (AC). Our driveway was in bad need of repair, not having been done in over 30 years. The base was completely failing in multiple places with huge dips, etc. we used to call it “off-roading on the driveway.” After reviewing bids from three other companies we met with Mike, the owner of AC and were immediately impressed. He told us exactly what he and his company would do, gave us a detailed estimate including detailing different prices depending on how much base fill would be needed after they removed the old driveway. AC’s quote was one of the most specific and detailed, and AC was one also the lowest price option we found. Mike is a super-nice guy, as are the members of his crew and they did a beautiful job. They were punctual, came on the days they said they would and the work was completed within the expected timeframe and within budget. Highly recommended!"

"Overall I was not impressed with the quality of the work. I wish I had just made the nail pop repairs myself. The gentleman was friendly, professional, and easy to be around. He did leave 20 minutes early without asking if I was satisfied or needing anything else. This I only mention because the company charges 185.00 for a 2 hour block (166 was the Angie's list discount)."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Amanda, OH

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
