Without taking action, we would have had to replace the entire porch in a few years. The Smart Level team were very courteous and professional. They fully explained the process of how their process would inject material below the concrete to fill the voids created from years of the foundation settling putting stress on the concrete. The Smart Level team injected their material even lifting our steps to the front porch 3-4 inches allowing for easier access to the porch, power washed the concrete, fixed and sealed all the cracks. "From start to finish, my experience with Rogers Basement Waterproofing was the the kind of experience we all hope for when hiring a professional. I contacted Rogers initially to get an idea of how to start addressing external moisture issues around my home’s foundation. My plan was to start by having new downspout/sump drainage lines installed, but my goal was to find a trusted company I could have confidence in for addressing future foundation/basement issues that are inevitable in aging homes. Shortly after my initial call, Nick contacted me. At our appointment he arrived promptly and took the time to listen to all my concerns. He was so knowledgeable, patient, and easy to communicate with. He answered my millions of questions, and I never felt rushed or pressured. In fact, I felt so impressed with that consult that I signed a contract on the spot—something I never do—for installation of drainage lines. The day before the scheduled work, Nicole—the Office Manager—contacted me to confirm and answer any questions I might have. I did have a request concerning one of the lines, and she relayed that request as soon as our call ended. Within minutes, I was contacted by Nick that my request was noted. Nicole was so incredibly nice that it further confirmed that I’d chosen the right company. On the scheduled day, the 4 man crew arrived on the dot. Shortly afterward, Nick stopped by to see how the work was going and to see if I had any questions/concerns. The crew, Zach, Craig, Hunter, and Josh were the hardest workers ever and couldn’t have been more friendly and pleasant. All four, and Nick, went out of their way to put my mind at ease about the process. The crew are more than skilled workers, they are craftsmen. They did meticulous work and went above and beyond. While routing a line to avoid tearing up a garden bed, a huge rock had to be hacked out of the ground. It’s now a cool garden feature since one of the crew kindly offered to wash it off and haul it over to one of the garden beds! The terrific crew were so efficient that the work was completed in under four hours. You literally cannot see where the trench was dug. Last night, we had a gulley washer rainfall. My neighbors probably thought I had lost my mind standing in the street in the rain in the dark with a flashlight—but it was so great watching the rainwater pouring out of the new drainage pipe ? The entire experience with the folks at Rogers felt like I was working with family. Just amazing. I’m so happy to have found a trusted company to turn to if future foundation/ basement issues arise. "Concrete driveway leveling and crack repair work was performed to our satisfaction, by a 2 man crew, who arrived promptly at 8 am and completed the repairs in less than 4 hours. <br /> The work was expertly done. Almost half of the driveway had settled with resultant cracks and joint movement, caused by water intrusion into the substrate below the slab.  The slab has now been raised back up to level by drilling small holes in the slab and filling below with light weight dense foam, pressure injected. Upon completion of the leveling process, all the crack joints were filled with sand cement topped off with a flowable epoxy, thus sealing the joints. <br /> Observing the work as it was done, I was impressed by the skill level shown and, especially, the judgement of how much injection can be done without causing further cracking to occur due to over filling, or uneven filling. <br /> It is important for potential customers to know that this is repair work.  The intent is to make the driveway completely functional and safe. The evidence of it being repaired will be obvious but should, when finished properly, be acceptable.  The only alternative, complete demolition, sub slab consolidation and new slab construction, would probably cost at least ten times as much and much longer to complete. <br /> The two men worked diligently, showed a high level of competence and were very courteous at all times.  We were very impressed and would, following this experience, strongly recommend Acculevel, Inc. <br /> Myles Murphy <br />"

"I spoke to Max and Mike on the phone before deciding to go with Midwest Masonry.  I drew a sketch of what I wanted and Mike came to the house to take measurements.  He emailed a quote, which was very reasonable. We negotiated a little on the final design and price before the contract was finalized.  <br />      They scheduled a day, which had to be adjusted around the weather.  They arrived when they said they would, removed weeds, leveled and prepared the site, then laid the sidewalks and patios.  There were 3 places where they made 1-2 steps to adjust to different levels.  The concrete was broom-finished and the color was in the material, not just a surface stain. They put in expansion joints and sealed it.  <br />      The workers were all very professional and friendly.  They knew what they were doing, worked quickly, and got the job done despite having to work around the weather.   <br />      Mike worked with me to select small blocks for a ledge to direct water runoff.  The blocks weren't the size needed, so he cut them in half to fit and made a very attractive curving border on one patio.  All the walks and patios were slanted correctly to direct water away from the house foundation.  After discussing it with me, they laid down small pebbles in a space between the sidewalk and fence so weeds wouldn't grow there.  That really made the job look cleanly finished.  <br />      After the work was completed, I phoned to ask how to trim a rough edge and Max said he'd do it.  He came out the next day and trimmed it.  <br />      I highly recommend Midwest Masonry.  They worked with me throughout the project and were flexible in making adjustments.  For example, the color I selected wasn't made anymore so Mike found a comparable coloring agent elsewhere. They were fast at answering phone calls and very friendly.  I would use Midwest Masonry again without hesitation.  I wish every company was as reliable, high quality, and professional as they are.  It was really a good experience.  These guys are great and do beautiful work! <br /> <br />"

"Did a good job of raising sidewalk that had settled. My only complaint is they failed to show on the day agreed & when I called at 4:15, they told me they couldn't come out until the following week. When the job was done, I was satisfied. It is much cheaper than replacing the walkway. The process leaves a 2-inch round patch in each slab that is less conspicuous after a few weeks of curing. The office staff is courteous & the work crew was pleasant & receptive. Overall, I thought it was a good value. I think their minimum charge is $350, but they offered a discount when I mentioned Angie's List."
