"Several months ago, I noticed that doors in my house were no longer closing and latching. Specifically, my front door no longer locked completely. Once I got it fully locked I could no longer open my front door anymore, so I knew I had foundation issues. I called Bay Area Underpinning to come look at my foundation and do some measurements. We discovered that my front living room was sinking approximately one and a half to 2 inches. The crew, Lance Sladek, Jake Hall, and Eddie Shaw, crawled under my house and dug 30 to 40 foot holes in the ground to install piers that would lift my foundation. These gentlemen worked in very cramped dirty conditions in 90-100° weather. I was extremely happy with their work and their dedication to doing the job correctly. My after the foundation lift, my front door as well as several other doors in my home were able to close and latch again."

"we had discussed that there might be additional root work on one side where neighbors tree stump is located. I had preped are by having a stump grinder cut back and grind roots encroaching on my prop. The owner dropped off crew and tgey went to work on job but had no supervision as tgey tore out my main line sprinkler line by over cutting the walkway by 18 inches. They did not have all the material on site rebar and 2 x 4 form. The mixer truck and I would not allow the pour until the rebar was anchored as specified. The concrete mixer stood by for over an hour waiting for materials to be delivered and for my ok. Eventually all was done but they wanted $500 above the signed contract. I had to explain the contract specified 42 inch walkway. He had to put in a concrete sewer box due to the wider walk. I did give an extra $150 fir root abatement as it was discussed but would not pay for standing time in mixer. he did repair the sprinkler line but put in a full circle head for the 1/4 spray which needed replacing as water went in all directions including the nee concrete, and existing drive way. a few headaches but verall the concrete work looked good. His crew just needs constant supervision by a responsible supervisor!"

"This company did a great job on my mom's driveway. The guys were courteous and professional and answered all my questions. I was so happy to learn that my mom's driveway could be fixed by lifting the different sections instead of repaving or grinding. "Very happy with the performance of Babylon Gardens. Good communication throughout, and a first class crew performed the work. I met with Rony and after a little back and forth on the project scope was able to schedule the work. Originally planned for 5 days, Rony's foreman and his team completed the work in 3 days (there had been a weather delay and they were as interested in getting the work done on time as I was)! Rony's foreman Juan knew his stuff, and truly went the extra mile, including performing some extra work which Rony covered under the original quote - greatly appreciated! Specifically, when Rony and I walked the job, we had agreed that rather than installing extra drainage, Rony would ensure the crew graded the slope down to the existing drain. Juan determined that was not the right way to do it, and installed a new drain in an ideal location. He also laid down some pavers which was outside the scope. It was just a few, to create a little accent where there would have been a dirt void between my side yard where a concrete walk was laid, and the sod that was installed in the back yard. Again, Juan did this, and even though it wasn't a lot of extra work, it was above and beyond the scope, but illustrates to me that the company and this crew is more interested in customer satisfaction and exemplary work than just the money. I will definitely call Rony the next time I need work done!"

I had water damage in my garage from a leaking toilet and the drywall and insulation had been removed by another vendor.  I needed to replace the drywall to the original specifications.  I called 5 contractors from Angie's List and got proposals from 3 contractors. 

We decided to go with Ciro Mejia for the following reasons:

1.  Ciro called me back 30 minutes after I left him a voice message and I was able to schedule him to see my garage the next day.  The other contractors were not as responsive to me.

2.  When we met with Ciro he was able to immediately access the scope of work and gave us a verbal proposal and he emailed me a written proposal when he said he get it to me.  I liked his responsiveness.

3.  When another contractor suggested using mold resistant drywall, I called Ciro back and he said he would use mold resistant drywall for the same price he initially proposed.

4.  We liked Ciro when we initially met with him, he was on time and we could tell that he knew about drywall.

5.   His proposal was the lowest of the 3 proposals we received.

Overall, we thought that the quality of the work performed by Ciro's crew (Cireo, Elmer, Roberto and Benny) was excellent.  They arrived on time and finished the installation of the drywall and plastering in 1 day.  After the plaster dried for 1 day, the painter came by the following day and put primer and paint on the drywall that matched perfectly the rest of the garage. 

We would definitely recommend Ciro and his crew.  Ciro is the "King of Drywall"!!
