"John Gambino from John Gambino Electrical (JBE) had come out personally to provide estimates for electrically upgrade. John is very personable and provided expertise as to what needed to be done to upgrade our home to 200amp service. His estimates for project were more than fair and so we set up a date and time for his team to come out. Bill and Bill from JBE came to our home on time, provided an explanation for install, answered questions and got right to work. They installed a new meter and 200amp service line into the home on the outside and installed a new circuit breaker panel on the inside. Of note, it must be mentioned that they had to spliced all wires to move new panel 3 feet from original position that was near sump pit/pump as a safety feature. Bill and Bill were personable, hard working, efficient and cleaned their area spotless. We squared up with the bill at the end. Before leaving they made themselves available for any last questions. Additionally, John Gambino from JBE came out personally to be available for any questions for inspector performing inspections. Installation pass inspection as expected. I will definitely contact John from JBE and ask for Bill and Bill for any future projects because of the high quality of installation and customer service they delivered. Thanks John, Bill and Bill. "Both jobs went very well. The overhead light fixture had shorted, possibly related to a leak from the bathroom above. John fixed the wiring to the fixture, as well as getting the light working again. He then checked an 3rd floor bathroom outlet that worked intermittently. I got the impression that his experience as an electrician helped him quickly figure out that the problem was related to how the outlet had been connected to the gfci outlet in the 2nd floor bathroom and changes to that outlet when the 2nd floor bathroom was renovated a couple months before. His work was fast and thorough."

"John Gambino was recommended to me on Facebook a year or so ago when I needed an emergency electrician on a holiday. He sent someone out within the hour and the issue was resolved quickly. "After doing some research, I had a preliminary view of what needed to be done and the cost of the material for the work. Then, I contacted 5 electricians to get written estimates for the work. Four of the electricians quoted a price that was more expensive than Glenn. One electrician suggested replacing my current 200 AMP, 30-circuit electrical panel that was maxed out at 38 circuits, with a 40-circuit panel thereby only gaining 2 additional slots. Another electrician suggested instead installing a 100 AMP, 20-circuit sub-panel, which was the correct recommendation, per my research. Glenn also suggested this approach, so I immediately knew that I was dealing with a straight shooter. While price was an important part of the decision making process for selecting an electrician, price was not the only reason I decided to go with Glenn. Of course, he had outstanding reviews on Angle’s list (A ratings only), but of all of the electricians, he was the MOST thorough and MOST detailed at exploring what needed to be done and he explained everything step by step ... he also asked a lot of questions and analyzed my current electrical setup before making a recommendation. He provided a very comprehensive recommendation with 3 different options for me to choose from that provided an efficient sub- panel set up that was also cost efficient, but all 3 recommendations solved my problem. I decided to go with a 100 AMP 20 circuit sub-panel that will provide me with plenty room to expand in the future. Glenn completed all work in 2 days and I was extremely pleased with the job he did. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable regarding his trade, he is also very professional, quite personable; a very nice person. It was a pleasure to work with him and as I told him after the job was completed, he will be "my electrician guy" going forward. I "highly" recommend Glenn ... simply put, he is OUTSTANDING!!"

"I hired Lights On Electric to run an underground line from the electric panel in my home to my new storage shed, 80 feet within the home and 100 feet buried conduit to the electric panel in the shed. This required a rental trencher and some difficult hand digging. The work was done in one day by Hank and Chris. They are able technicians and they did an excellent job. Hank and Chris are a pleasure to work with. I'm very happy with the results."

"Phil was here for 2 days.  First day he worked outside raising the incoming wire. This consisted of installing a heavy metal pipe that went through the roof eave. Second day installed new electrical panel,  Phil did a great job.  Plan to use him for more projects in the future. <br />"

"The quote was nearly 50% higher than our lowest quote and about 25% higher than the next highest quote. Also, the electrician recommended a GFCI breaker, which would have been incompatible with our installation (the outlet was to be used with an electric vehicle charger that has built-in GFCI protection). Doubling up on the GFCI can cause problems and is against the installation directions. I wouldn't expect the electrician to know this necessarily (he didn't see the installation directions), but he boasted that they have worked with Teslas, so perhaps he should know (or stop using that as a selling point). Wes Carver Electrical was the only one to recommend GFCI, which added even more to the cost and put that part of their quote about 75% higher than what we ultimately paid for the work."

"Our electrical panel started arcing so we shut it off and had Frank come out and look at it. Initially thought it was from overloading the breaker box but come to find out there were several things done wrong that were fire hazards by previous owners and electricians. I liked Frank because he came quick and was consistent. A lot of people will normally try and upsell you and we initially thought we needed to upgrade to 200 amps based off of having all electrical appliances. Frank came in, showed us what was wrong, told us what we could do, what we couldn’t do, and assured us we did not need 200amps. He was also very reasonable with pricing. Definitely recommend and will be using Hammers Home Improvement for future projects."

"We used Gen3 in the past for a small job and were pleased, so we decided to use them to replace our old knob and tube wiring. Our technicians were nice and friendly. But there were a lot of problems. They did not sufficiently clean up after the work they did each day. We had to clean up ourselves, and our home was full of dust and debris. The workers scratched our floor, dented some kitchen cabinets, took a chunk out of a wall, and did a sloppy job patching up the holes they made during the job. They missed one of our outlets, so we'll have to rewire that one ourselves. They damaged our outside flood lights, and we had to replace them. They did not label the circuits on the new sub-panel they installed. And, I'm sorry to write this, but they used our bathrooms every day for more than just urination. I felt like our home was abused."
