"<p>They did a decent job overall they didn't measure the windows correctly a first, wanted to charge me for the fill in pieces, I had to complaint. Then they came and redid the windows. There is a couple of cracks in the windows, I had to re-cement small areas, but overall they were ok. Problems started when the lock they provided for the sliding door broke. Apparently, you can't get this lock anywhere but them, it is their proprietary lock! We went to home depot, local locksmith, nobody has any idea about this lock. I called the company and told the guy that a little spring in the mechanism broke. He had no idea what I was talking about, talked about the truck that was going to deliver parts. I gave him my number, told him that I would like to lock my porch. Didn't get a call for two days. Then I called the corporate number, which is provided on the part page, but the girl had no idea. Now its on my second week nobody called me, I'll have to change the lock completely.</p> <p>These people only want to take your money initially, but really don't want to service their products. There is no parts, no technical service, nothing. If I knew, I would make them put the generic lock that I can buy parts for. </p> <p>It is obnoxious to make your own product, that you wouldn't be able to go to anyone else and not service it.</p> <p>I will never buy from them again.</p> <p><br></p>"

"Easy to do business with.  No real price deals.  Dinged them on punctuality because they showed up at 1130 vice the agreed time of 1-2PM.  My daughter just happened to be here so it was no problem, but normally no one would have been home.  They called about 15-20 minutes ahead and I assume if no one answered the phone they would have come during the agreed upon window.  The screen was purchased over the phone.  No pre-sale visit for measuring or to show the product (they said pre-measuring was not necessary).  A local Lowes had a single door version that we were able to see beforehand.  Apparently installation was quick and easy and clear maintenance directions were provided.  They were gone by the time I got home about 1245.  I probably would have bought a Clearview retractable screen because the return mechanism creates a more gentle return, but the only distributor in the DC area is Liberty Screens and they have been blocked on Angies list and have an F rating from the better business bureau so we wouldn't take a chance with them.  All told, Tri-State provided a good product, with little hassle, installed it properly, and I would not hesitate to use them in the future. <br />"

"Crew that came called when they were in route and arrived right on schedule. They were very professional and made every effort not to track dirt and debris in to the house by laying down drop cloth anywhere they were going to be. After everything was installed one of the crew showed how to remove the windows for easy cleaning and reinstall them as well as where to find any related information for them."

"After seeing their product at the Minneapolis Home & Garden show we were convinced that this was the right product for our porch improvement work. The guys from EZ-Screen brought samples to our home to help us select frame color and installation method. They took careful measurements of all of the window and door openings and put our order in motion. A few weeks later our windows and door were delivered. <br /> <br /> We did this work at the same time we had some exterior siding work done by another contractor. We arranged to have that contractor do the actual installation of the EZ-Screen product. The rep from EZ-Screen came out to our site when the installation started to ensure that our contractor understood how to properly install the windows and door. "The work of Abilities Unlimited was exceptional. The motto of this company is "Perfection is our Standard".  From the initial building of the framing to hold up the deck, it was essential to Darryl that everything be squared up perfectly.  Attention to detail was what we saw.  The porch is sturdy and he didn't cut corners on quality of materials used in the construction.  He hand-selected the wood to insure that it was straight. Even the fasteners (nails, screws, etc.) had to meet Darryl's discriminating standard.  Had to be double hot dipped zinc coated (not single hot dipped electroplated) for example.  Everything was done with quality in mind. All of the 4 x 4s above the support structure were wrapped with aluminum. This was well done. He removed and replaced the section of the original siding which is inside the porch area.  The new siding matches extremely well both in color and siding shape (the original siding-no longer made-is almost 30 years old).      The EZ Breeze system windows move smoothly up and down in their tracks because all corners are square.  There is an exit door that opens and closes smoothly. The hand railing on the steps is sturdy and attractive.  Options inside the porch for railing varied as the project moved along.  I didn't want the bulky vinyl railing.  We considered horizontal wire railing, but ended up with vertical metal railing.  The elements of the deck itself are white; the railing is black and is quite attractive.  Under the porch he put support framing which shows from the outside.  Even in this detail, Darryl wanted it to look nice so he beveled the edges of the supports.   <br /> The people who did additional work-the electrician and roofer-were quality workers as well.  Darryl has worked with people through the years who have proven their ability to do excellent work.  He works with these people as needed for the project.  In our case, we were very pleased that he had these contacts and they were able to do the necessary work and do it well. <br /> Because of  the southern exposure of this deck we have used this room regularly this fall.  The sun's warmth that is trapped in the room by the windows has made it comfortable enough for eating outside even in colder weather. <br /> Darryl kept us informed every step of the way of what was coming next, when he would be there and what he would do. He had a payment schedule so that we could pay as work was completed.   Everything went smoothly. He kept his word. We would hire Abilities Unlimited for additional work.   <br /> We love our new porch! <br /> <br />"
