"On Tuesday, March 5, I realized I had forgotten to have my car inspected.  Wednesday afternoon, during a snow storm, I called ABS to
see when I could get an early appointment for an inspection as well as an oil change and a tune-up.  I also asked if I could wait for the car. They told me the inspection and oil change could be done while I waited, but a tune-up might take longer than I'd like to wait.  I got an appointment for 8:30 AM on Thursday, March 7, for an inspection and oil change, and was out of there in time to get in a 9 hour day at work.  When they tried starting the car, it had a hard time starting, so they asked me if I wanted them to check the battery.  I said I would like them to check the battery, and they confirmed it was good; they probably hadn't pushed the clutch in far enough the car to start when they tried starting it the first time.
I always bring my cars to ABS for maintenance and repairs; I've been using them for years.  Often for inspections I leave the car, they take care of what ever needs to be done, advising me if any unexpected repairs are needed, and usually have it ready before the end of the day.  They stand behind their work. their prices are reasonable, and they get the job done as quickly as possible.
