"EXCELLENT!!! Every interaction we had with Hunter was professional but caring, his attention to detail impeccable, and on top of all of that he was honest. It is rare to find someone in construction who makes you feel they are looking out for you but Hunter did just that! On our third day without hot water and too many discussions with plumbers I found Foothills Plumbing on Angie's List, the reviews were excellent, so I called. I was sent to voice mail but before I could leave a message Hunter was on the other line. I told him about my water heater coming apart at the seams and that we had been without hot water for several days and he assured me he could have it fixed within a day! I sent him pictures and he gave me an estimate on replacement which was reasonable for the job ( unlike some of the other bids I had received). We set a time for him to come by the next day and give me an in person bid. He arrived on time and brought a crew. He gave us two options- one to replace the tank with like kind and better quality and two to upgrade to tankless. He was honest that the tankless would be more but explained the differences. He was never pushy only informative. He was also patient as I had to have him repeat all of the information to my husband as well. We did end up upgrading but the cost was less than several other plumbers had quoted us for same kind and quality! Hunter and his team retrofitted our room to accommodate the new heater, found existing exhaust pipes that were unattached and reworked them, installed the hot water heater, and cleaned up all of the mess they had created on that same day! They worked well into the evening to make right on their promise of a hot shower that evening!!! We are so pleased with our new energy efficient system and greatful for Foothills Plumbing that we are already making a list of other, not so immediate :), jobs that we can hire them for. "Mr Rooter called almost immediately and was at my home in less than 1 hour. Mr Rooter's technician Chris identified, cleared, and verified the blockage very quickly. After clearing the blockage, Chris set up a followup visit for the following week to pump out our septic tank and install a clean out fitting. We were very satisfied with all of the work."

Benjamin Franklin's technicians performed outstanding service, installing an entire new and superior tankless hot water system, replacing our inferior and dangerously flawed tankless system that no longer performed. The lead technician was up front regarding the reasons for replacement, the cost of replacement, as well as less expensive alternatives. After we decided to replace with a new tankless system and because of the price point, the lead technician suggested time plan payment alternatives which was very helpful.

The day of installation, the crew arrived on time as promised and suggested that the unit be placed on the outside of the house instead of underneath in the crawl space, allowing for easy access for maintenance and trouble shooting as well as for safety. An excellent suggestion since the old tankless system had been installed against a wall in the crawl space underneath our bedroom floor which the lead technician noted, would have been bad for us if the corroded pipes had started leaking gas! Anyway, the entire job was completed without a hitch and again right on time as promised.

The new system has been working perfectly for six months now and we could not be more pleased! I would highly recommend Benjamin Franklin and their technical crews to anyone with plumbing issues - two thumbs up!

"We had another plumbing company come out due to a leak. Rather than do any diagnostics, they just replaced the pressure valve. It still leaked. I called the next Monday and was told oh, you need a new water heater. Johnny Gavilan from Preferred Home Services checked a couple things and found our expansion tank was bad. He did warn us there still could be a problem with the water heater but at least he checked first. If we need the water heater replaced, our expansion tank will be new!"
