"Myself and my father has used MJA Contracting for two roofs in our houses in Jersey City. Both times Manuel and his team has taken good care of us and installed good roofs. At first I thought the price was a bit high but after I saw the amount of time, material, and workmanship that they completed I thought the price was very fair. Roofs are alot of work as I learned. What I especially liked about Manuel is he did not go cheap and install a torch down rubber roof. He installed a rubber EPDM roof instead. If you have a flat roof, do yourself a favor and install a rubber EPDM membrane and make sure to contact Manuel. He also rebuilt our chimneys very good as well. Excellent masons! I guarantee you will not be disappointed!"

"Siding is beautiful. Gutters are nice. Our 2 day job took 2 weeks to complete. During install an exterior electrical box needed to be maneuvered so Siding could go behind it. This threw off electrical to a building that was tied to that outlet. No response from the warranty team other than pay an electrician to fix us and forward the bill for reimbursement. I asked for this in writing and got nothing. The gutter pitch is off and we were guaranteed it would be fixed with the installation of the new gutters. It was not and water drains directly onto an electrical outlet. The warranty dept is radio silent. The billing team was very quick to send us reminders, the bill, and more reminders."

"From the very beginning of this process Tom and his staff extremely helpful.  Any questions we had were answered quickly, I emailed either Tom or Rose, who is terrific at keeping you informed, and scheduling was easy.  Once all the pieces of the fireplace were delivered Tom's crew were there to sort through everything and were ready to start the job.  A new gas line had to be run, an electric line had to be run to the fireplace, the flue insert was dropped down from the roof, there was work needed to be done on the brick in the existing fireplace too.  The job took 2 days, if I remember correctly, the installers were extremely careful, cleaned up before they left for the day, were are my house bright and early in the morning as promised, and very helpful in explaining what they were doing. 

We did have an issue with the pilot light going out; I turned the gas off and sent an email to Tom.  He replied and explained that if the pilot goes out on this particular model there is an automatic shut off of the gas, he also walked me through the re-lighting of the pilot, although I couldn't get it to work so they sent the installer back who got it going right away and who also took the time to shut it off and have me restart it.
