They asked about and worked around my schedule, were all prompt, courteous and friendly, and showed a true desire to complete the work to my satisfaction. Their explanations of the work to be done and the time it would take were clear and accurate. They started the work in less than a week after I signed the contract, and completed it in a week. This was well beyond my expectations since a lot needed to be done, including drywall repair and painting some hard to reach areas, shingle repair, gutter cleaning, and concrete step repair. Their cost estimate was competitive and fair. There were a couple hiccups along the way, including matching the interior paint color and trouble with installing a door handle, but everything worked out ok. I would certainly hire them again for any general home repairs/improvements."

"I found Mt. Diablo very easy to work with and I felt that they worked hard to give me a good value. The stone walkway in the front looks much better than the previous walkway. They installed it very quickly and efficiently. The landscaping in the back was just a bit of mulching and a few shrubs but the yard looks more finished now. The big project was removing a cement slab in the back that was too small to be of use and dipped so that it puddled in front of the door during when it rained. The new patio looks tons better and is of a useful size. I think the patio is a tremendous improvement to the house. The crew worked very efficiently and if I had another similar job I would hire them back.

"They came and gave the estimate. Courteous, qualified, and helpful in their suggestions. They came and installed the edging, cleaned up and left the areas affected. Later they came back and sealed the edging. I had the back to finish the edging and they tied in to the existing edging and then came back to seal that portion. The whole project turned out very nice."

"The storm hit about 6PM on a Tuesday. A fair amount of damage, and my car was blocked in the car port by the tree that was now leaning against my house. I imagined that it would  be days before getting somebody out to remove the tree. I figured I would need to miss a lot of time at my job. Also I was concerned that I would be charged a premium because of the immediate need and precarious situation I was in. Went to Angie's list and found "Edwards Tree and Lawn Service." I called and left a message on Edward's answering machine about 9PM (Tuesday).
       At 9 AM the next morning (Wednesday), Mr. Edwards was at my front door. He took a thorough look around, quoted an estimate, that I knew was reasonable and left. In 45 minutes he was back with his crew, in four or five hours, the tree was cut up and piled in the front of my house. He and his personnel were courteous and thorough -- particularly in cleaning up. They were careful not to create more damage in the removal of this big big tree, and were even careful about not marring my driveway. They took care to get all the wood chips off of the lawn. I could not have asked for better. Within an hour of their departure, I had a detailed receipt via e-mail.
The next morning they were out early to pick up the cutup tree and branches -- again did a super job cleaning up. It is now Thursday and this unfortunate situation is behind me. Edwards' completed the job (including clean up) even before my insurance adjuster got here -- I am still waiting for the insurance adjuster to fit me in his schedule. That is responsive. I would use Edwards again and have scheduled additional work with them. Very pleased.
