He told me at each step what was checking out ok and then when he hit the decision point. I thanked him for his thorough approach and decided repair was not the prudent choice. Process was reasonable. I would hire him the next appliance issue comes up."

"Went amazing, Nick (highly recommend) came out to assess the situation on my 18 yr old (double drawer) dishwasher... he was careful not to break anything in the process, began trouble shooting parts, found out that likely due to heat and moisture of a dishwasher - the connector on one of the controller boards seems to not making good enough contact. He cleaned the connectors on both drawers before reassembly, and I had two fully working 18 yr old drawers on the spot with no new parts needed. Nick was also helpful to recommend brands that were less likely to see repair after purchase, I wasn't sure if I'd go with Fisher & Paykel again in the future - but I've had so few problems, and even now at 18 yrs the machines are working like new... so with Nick's insightful inputs, I'll probably upgrade to the latest Fisher/Paykel double-drawer model when I get to that point. I'm an engineer by trade, so I already know many of the likely appliance trades - and Nick of Sterling Appliance did a great job... I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others, especially if you no idea about the appliances and need to trust the repair service. :) Nick did a wonderful job, explaining what his concerns were - and wasn't pushing a bunch of unnecessary alternatives... he was there to help me understand how to move forward."

"It was great! I called them mid morning to let them know my refrigerator was making a clicking sound, all the lights on the display had gone off and it was not cooling sufficiently. I had a birthday dinner that evening so it was important. The technician came around 3:45 and diagnosed the problem as a burned out computer board. He had one on his truck and fixed it immediately! He was very nice, personable and knowledgeable. He had a mask and gloves for proper social distancing in this era of covid-19. The price was reasonable. This is now my go to company if I ever need an appliance repair! Highly recommend!"

Last week it sparked and entirely quit heating . I called Ace Appliance Service on a Thursday afternoon. Mo came by on Friday morning, looked the microwave over, said he could get the parts and repair both the spindle and heating problem. "I was very pleased with the service I got from Q&A Appliance Repair. I have a very old chrome Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator. It still works so why spend $2000 for a new one. The icemaker stopped working about six months ago and I ignored it til about a week ago when the heat made me focus on the fact that I did not have one. Q&A was very responsive and set up a diagnosis appointment. I was impressed with their staff who took the time to go online, get the original brochure, and proceeded to test the pieces of the icemaker in order to properly diagnose the program. While I thought that the water line needed to be replaced, it turned out that the icemaker motor had died (after 20-plus years that's acceptable). I rec'd a very reasonable quote and an appointment to replace the motor was set for a few days hence. Within a few hours, I had ice again in my freezer!
