"Alfredo and his team (Jose, then Pablo) did an excellent job in fixing many cracks in two bedrooms-turned-home offices, then sanding and painting the walls, ceilings, trim, and closets. They also patched a hole in the basement ceiling that a plumber left from a previous job. Alfredo is a smart and passionate business owner and does his work with quality and care. He estimated that the job would take 5 days, and it was completed in 4 with no corners being cut. They all were friendly and customer-focused throughout the job, and they were helpful in moving furniture that we were not able to do beforehand. I was impressed that Alfredo himself was here the entire time and didn't leave to work on other jobs during the day. I would absolutely work with Alfredo and Solis/Wall Covering Country in the future and have several projects in the queue right now. The estimate was higher than the other two I received, but I was not convinced that I would receive the same quality of work and excellent customer service with the less-expensive firms. We are glad we went with Alfredo."

"We hired Wow 1 Day for 2 separate projects and each one was high quality work with professional service and communications. The first was after we had a flood and needed to get our basement painted after water remediation. The second time we use the company to repaint our entire house. They were great helping with color consultations. We let our kids have some say over there rooms but the company was great in helping with that process. They also helped us be selective about trim and doors that didn't need to repainted to keep us on budget. I would recommend this company without reservation."

But we went through Angi this time and the pro we chose, Omar’s General Contracting, was definitely a hit. Omar was professional and communicative. His crew was great. On time, very tidy, reasonably priced, flexible, and a perfect finished product. We hired them on Sunday and they started on Monday. In two days, Omar and his crew were able to basically rebuild our entire eat-in kitchen ceiling following a large plumbing project. I honestly think it looks better now than it did before the work. He worked with my tight schedule (trying to get house on the market quickly), helped me problem solve some related carpentry issues that were outside the scope of painting, and has a highly professional crew who were either early or on time everyday. The project was the exterior of a Capitol Hill townhouse. The team took great care to make sure neighboring properties were protected. The neighbors noticed and appreciated C&V’s attention.
