"Jeremy is AWESOME! My Maytag electric dryer wouldn't turn on. For more than a week, I tried working with another service to get the dryer repaired. They cancelled appointments twice. I found JC Appliance Services on Angi and was impressed by the reviews. Jeremy responded to my voicemail within minutes and carved out time the sane day to look at my dryer. He diagnosed the issue quickly (blown fuse within the dryer) and repaired it quickly...at a price less than half of what the other service quoted. I recommend Jeremy highly. "I had my appointment with Mr. Harmond W. on May 07, 2022. It was rather easy to set up appointments and the site makes it rather easy to reschedule (which I've had to do). Mr. Harmond W. was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I've read great reviews about his appointments on here. We pinpointed the problem by process of elimination. For my particular model (Whirlpool) he's seen the common water leak issue I was experiencing. Oftentimes, filter housings need to be replaced. Mr. Harmond W. just confirmed my observation and I am glad I may now rectify the issue. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Harmond W. sent me the exact part needed via email . One may shop around at different retailers to purchase the part. Neli also sells appliance OEM parts as well by partnering with other companies. I will be going with another retailer/seller since the price was much lower with a good return policy and a protection plan option as well. For $35, one can't beat that. A diagnostic evaluation alone may range from $150 and up. I was able to pinpoint the problem and order the part. I won't be arranging for an appointment to self-install. One has to know where to draw the line. I will hire someone once I have the part in hand. I already have someone in mind, also referred by Angi. Luckily, I didn't have to do any thing too cumbersome. I gained some handy tools at well. I really liked using the nutdriver vs a screwdriver. So I've added all the necessary tools I need for the appointment to my collection, and they will be handy in the future. Overall this was an optimal experience and I would certainly refer and use Neli in the future. If you are confident in unscrewing/re-screwing, and removing parts of your appliance, I'd say give it a try. NOTE: Also understand that this an all virtual service. An appliance repair professional doesn't not come to your home at no point in time. Neli offers self- diagnostic guidance to determine the issue with your appliances. Neli sends you the part number. You purchase it, and then may opt to make another appointment to install the part. If the task is too difficult, then you may opt to hire an appliance repair professional. It's up to you to decide. "Installation went extremely well. Despite a somewhat tricky install, Drew did a great job making the new installation much better than the old one. All my contacts with the company went very well, Tim and Drew are both professional and knowledgeable individuals. I cannot recommend them highly enough. "William was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions in terms I was able to understand. He showed me areas of old, damaged ductwork that clearly needed replacing. He took pictures, and noticed my furnace had a cracked heat exchanger and recommending replacing since carbon monoxide may enter the building and he showed them to me and he worked out a plan and made sure he was able to replace damaged ductwork, install a new gas furnace and even add an additional vent in the biggest room in my home. They were very careful to cover their shoes with booties, thank you Home Squad!"

"Mr. Belem was pleasant, gave me his recommendations, however, materials were not readily available, I have to do my own research where to get materials. He suggested I needed to replace the whole hot water dispenser system, I just needed the faucet replaced which he says that the faucet alone cannot be done, therefore, I have to buy and replace the whole unit. Hello, there is online purchasing stores! Voila, there it is! Faucet alone can be purchased."

"Palm Construction did many projects for me: remodel bathroom, replace the roof, termite treatment, install of can lights, crown molding, skylight, and painting. The workers are very friendly and all talented. The quality of their work is excellent. The overseeing contractor for all my jobs was Omri. He understands quickly the scope of what you want done. He is organized, honest, and prompt at returning texts/calls. He has personal integrity, and just is a really nice guy. All of the people I met in the company connected to my projects, from owner to people doing the actual work - they were really delightful to meet and work with. "We were told by the appliance people that our new replacement fridge should have no issues fitting into the opening that the old subzero fit in, even though we would have to figure out how to cover up part of the opening cosmetically because the new fridge was about 14 inches shorter than the old one.
It turns out that after we got rid of the old fridge and had the new one delivered, the new one actually didn't fit into space where the old fridge was......for some reason even though the tech specs said the width of the refridgerator's were the same, the new one was about 1/4 wider!We scrambled and found several options for this odd emergency work required to get the new fridge in, and after speaking to three other "cabinet makers" listed on angies list,  i was able to "walk through" our unusual situation with Brian on the phone and he felt that he would be able to accomodate the jobs' needs.
Brian arrived on time the next morning , and did a great job accessing the actual situation, coming up with a plan, and executing the plan perfectly.  he was very sensitive to our wishes to make sure that in altering the original opening in the wooden wall, that we keep the edges pristine and aesthetically appealing, in line with the other "build in " appliances that we had in the wall.
(It is a "frank lloyd wright" style residence, so the woodwork was very specific and easily ruined.)
Brian took care of the practical issues (including hooking our water hoses up in the back of the fridge), but also did a fine and careful job in terms of the niceties of construction.  He cleaned up after himself, and believe me there was a lot of saw dust!
All in all, Brian really came through on last-minute notice and saved the day for us.  We had so many things going on that had to be completed within a three day period of our availability it was like Dominoes.....everything was completely timed out in terms of people removing appliances, delivering and setting up appliances and cleaning up the space for the next person to come in and do their job (window washing, other appliance replacements, roof cleaning, etc), so being on time and completing each task in a timely fashion was necessary.

"The skylight well is now square and clean, which is great. The paintwork was also good, despite the challenge of painting a ceiling in a wallpapered room. He did leave some mud or paint spatter on the skylight that I haven't yet figured out a way to clean off. I think we both missed it because it was such a dark day."

"We recently purchased a recently renovated century old farmhouse. We were not expected to use the home warranty that came with out purchase, but so happy we had it within months of moving in we had failures of the appliances. Then we learned the title agency paid the wrong home warranty company. We made the title company pay the proper warranty company covered in our contract due to reviews --- best decision we made. They were help in sorting out the problems with the Title Company and they made sure we were happy with the repairs. When one repairman bailed on us, American Home Shield came to the rescue. Couple of months later a pump failed on the clothes washer and it was repaired in just a few days. $75 for each claim for the service call and the repair is covered. I am afraid they have paid more than the cost of my policy at this point. But that is what insurance is for. Definitely keeping them in the future. Highly recommend."
