"Overall I was very satisfied with my experience. They responded to my call quickly and gave me a detailed quote.The recessed lighting (which was the main project) was installed with minimal drywall damage and looks great. They also provided me the contact information for a handyman who they knew would be able to do the minor drywall repairs to my textured ceiling. I was less happy with my bathroom vent fan installation. Since the bathroom is in the middle of the second floor of my rowhome, I had made it clear that they would either need to outlet it through the roof or run the outlet through the ceiling of a bedroom to outlet out the back wall. They quoted me a price for this extra work and told me it could be done. However once they started working they realized they couldn't outlet it through the backwall and were unwilling to outlet it through the flat roof. They still installed the exhaust fan, but it now outlets into the gap between the ceiling and the roof. It's been a headache trying to get someone to do the outlet install; in the mean time and I have a plastic bag taped over the exhaust fan to try and prevent any steam from getting into my walls...but I have no idea how well that's working. Since there was a line-item for the outlet install, they immediately agreed to lower the price when that work was not done. The electrician, Mikey, was very respectful and did to very good work, but he was usually arrived about an hour later than I was told he would. I'm not sure if that was a problem with him or a miscommunication back at the office. Moral of the story: if you need something that's strictly electrical, these guys are great. If you need something that requires electrical + another area of expertise...you might be better off with a handyman or general contractor."

"We have been hit twice by lightning by God's grace either one hit our home however the last strike burnt art motorhome to the ground William was hired to install lightning protection lightning rods on our home and two out buildings he took the time to explain to us everything we needed to know answering every question professionally conducted himself in the utmost professional manner I would highly recommend lightning rods and even more highly recommended hiring William to do the job we are going to do an expansion later on and he will be the one and only contractor I will call to continue our lightning protection"

"My project was restoring a circuit after lightening had knocked it out. And no, it wasnâ t a circuit breaker problem, Mike showed up on time. He is very personable,, easy to like, and listens to what the customer is saying. He immediately understood my problem, unlike this web site that tries to force fit the customerâ s project into â Hard wiredâ categories that were irrelevant to my situation. Mike methodically and efficiently eliminated potential causes for the dead circuit, (One of the receptacles had literally been fried by the lightening strike.). He installed new parts and had the circuit with my refrigerator up and running in short order. I wish every experience I have in hiring professional help is as good as Mike provided. "I contacted Wireworx to provide an estimate to repair some damaged interior wall wiring (approximately 6 120 volt wires) that serviced the second floor of my house. The job had the added challenge of repairing wires that went down through the floorplate of the second story wall to the the first story. Chris came out, surveyed the damage and then told me “No problem, we can so this”. He provided me an estimate via email that included replacing or splicing the damaged wiring. Splicing! Who knew!? I always thought that you had to replace damaged wirng but there is now a UL rated splice kit for inteiror walls. What a time and cost savings! We schedued the work for the follwing week and Tim showed up right on time and got right to work. The splice kits worked great!. The only challenge was locating BOTH wires that went down through the floorplate. While I had opened up the wall (sure enough, two wires coming thrugh the top plate) only one of the wires came through at that point. SO, the search was on for the other wire. Tim was very apologetic about having to add two small (4”x4”) holes in the cieling to find the other wire. No worries there, patching the holes is no problem since he was very careful when he made them. Once the wires were located all of the repairs and clean up was completed in less that a coiple of hours. The whole process - contactng Wireworx, having Chris come out to estimate the work, getting and approving the estimate, and Tim coming out to do the repairs was extremley easiy>. Chris and Time were extremely courtious and professional, and the work is top notch. I highly recommend Wireworx!"

"The electrician did a quality job by relocating the light fixture; however, the actual charge was $195 or 65% more than the estimated price of $300. Owner refused to pay the extra $195 and the realtor had to pay it. Electrician also didn't replace two regular recessed light bulbs and the realtor would have to buy the light bulbs from Home Depot and installed himself."

"Juan arrived a bit later than expected but got to work and did the jobs, running to Home Depot for needed parts which I didn't know we needed. He explaned things to me and knew what he was doing. He did all the jobs I outlined and left with everything working. He was cooperative in pointing the kitchen track lights where I wanted the to shine. He then looked at the plumbing job (vanity install) and realized that the vanity I bought wasn't a feasible option because of the direction of my pipes (to the side and not the back) therefore needing to go right through the drawers! I have returned the vanity to Home Depot! He didn''t waste time talking to me but did talk to himself (or on his phone ) while he worked! He cleaned up his dust and debris well, Satisfied with his cost which really should have been higher when I thought about it later. I would use him again if he was from near Frederick, but he came from Baltimore! I'd rather use local tradesmen...."
