"It went well living up to the many excellent reviews by previous Angies List reviewers. They remediated the mold by cutting away affected drywall, applying mold killing material to the surrounding walls in the cold air duct. They set up a containment area in the closet adjacent to the cold air duct and used HEPA vacuums to cleanse the containment area and air of mold. Their estimator found moisture in the floor in front of our toilet when he came to do the estimate. A plumber who who found the leak and fixed it without entering the mold affected area found a badly rusted flange under the toilet with rot. When the workman from Mold Solutions came to alleviate the mold problem they cleaned up the area around the sewer pipe and flange and applied anti-mold material. That awaits a plumber to fix the toilet connection. Mold Solutions did the minimum amount of disruption to the cold air vent in eradicating the mold. As a result repairing that duct (which also serves as a resting place for things in the closet), will be much easier and less costly than I had feared. In cleaning up the sewer pipe and flange in the bathroom floor (a bonus not in the estimate) I could see that the repair would be less costly than it originally repaired. Mold Solutions job was done in three hours in the early afternoon of a Tuesday, followed by the HEPA fans operating until the next morning. Mold Solutions did a great job of finishing and cleaning up in one hour on Thursday Morning. I highly recommend them."

"18 months ago there had been a one-time incident of water infiltration in one small area of a finished section/office area of our basement that, when remediating, had been haphazardly torn up in an effort to completely remove the moisture as well as allow insurance adjuster to determine cause of water. We are now at the place where we are ready to restore the once-finished area of our basement. Grant Erfert, the owner of Rapid Dry, came at the request of our contractor to assess what was happening behind the drywall of the previously finished walls of our basement. During the first visit to our house, Grant asked that drywall be further removed to allow full visual and assessment of potential mold on foundation. Grant returned today and let us know that there was an easy fix to what was mold staining on the wall. Further, Grant sprayed down the entire area with a thyme oil mixture to combat any mold growth. He then recommended that I spray a mixture of one part bleach/five part water to the entire area to remove staining. Allow walls to dry. Seems like a fairly easy solution. Grant is friendly, professional, honest and trustworthy and crazy busy! He had no intentions of nickel-and-dime-ing me."
