"Overall the job went well, the workers were kind and friendly. They did not do the best job with clean up - nails left in front of and around our house, materials in our neighbors yards. Though when I let Carlos know our concerns he was there the very next day to clean up and inspect the job. Carlos is very attentive and approachable. "This was my second project with HEXAGON CONSTRUCTION and by far the largest and most complex. (Replacing an old, clay tile roof on a three story house is no job for a rookie.) HEXAGON’s owner, Eli Vatkin, is what everyone should be looking for in a contractor. He’s knowledgeable, reasonably priced, trustworthy, responds promptly to any concerns that you have during the project, keeps you apprised of its progress, finishes on time, and generally aims to please. His contracts were straightforward and “by the book.” On top of that, he’s a genuinely nice guy. Rarely will you find all these qualities in a contractor—and I’ve been around long enough to know. "

"I was tasked with some repairs on my parents house that had been unoccupied for 16 years. The roof had a leak (with severe drywall damage inside), the gutters had come down in places and there was a termite problem. I met with numerous contractors and exterminators and finally (after advising parents) chose Nikki with Dr Roof for the replacement of the under-layment and broken tile for the Tile roof (house in Stevenson Ranch CA). Nikki is so professional and sent pictures and kept me informed every step of the demolition and replacement process. Since I was at the residence, I didn't even really need that because I watched over much of the work, but still she went "above the call". Then as other projects were needed, she had contacts for extermination, facia replacement and painting, eve trough replacement and interior house work. I went ahead and contacted other contractors and vendors for those services, but in every case Nikki's contacts were better (or at least similarly) priced. And I am glad I went with her suggested repair people - they too were all very professional (and in no way associated with her, she just recommends them as she's been in the business 27 years and knows reputable, quality contractors). And in every case the other people I had on various projects sang Nikki's praises. She also coordinated the timing for all these contractors to do their work (obviously some things like facia have to be replaced and painted before Eve troughs installed, etc.) Dr Roof overall did a great job. They kept the place neat and I thought their underlayment was the best quality of any of the contractors I met with ( and I got other quotes from companies / individuals). There is still more work to do on the yard and in this house (projects for next year after bank account recovers from these projects - ha! ha!) Nikki will be my first call when looking for additional work on this house for my parents."

"I own 8-unit apartments two buildings flat roof with carport aera attached on each building. Mike shows up on time give you a great price, but inflates as the job moves on, His guys just toss nails everywhere, left the cable wire hanging, time will tell if the flat roof over the units will last 10 years, Carport aera added an extra $10,000 and really did a Treible job, some areas its rolled up to the top of the wall some areas not. Missing roofing water pools soaks thru the roof? not (hot mopped) water works its way thru the plywood and onto the parked cars. His guys left the lights hanging didn't secure them back to the joist, Call Mike leave messages e-mail, nothing, no warranty on the contract he gives a warranty but does not fulfill it. On this job Mike dropped the ball. "
