"Linzey is superb and so is his work. He is a perfectionist in a good way and takes pride in getting the job done with the best materials allowed by the client’s budget. He kept an eagle eye on all the subs working on the project and he uses only the best skilled from painters to electricians to tilers to granite installers. I wouldn’t consider working with any other contractor. I think Linzey is the best."

"Rob Gibson was an absolute pleasure to work with. His professionalism and the integrity of his work showed through in his commitment to excellence in everything from his finish carpentry skills, to his meticulous record keeping/transparency, to the timely management of the project. We are very happy we chose Rob to work on this project. We highly recommend him to anyone considering a garage remodel/tiny house conversion. Michelle Morrison"

"Anthony and his crew were great. After receiving very high estimates from other foundation contractors I found Anthony through this website. He efficiently ascertained the situation and laid out his proposed game plan in very easy to understand words and terms . No scare tactics, no "the sky is falling" maneuvers. I very much appreciate his easy going approach and manner - same with his crew - all very upbeat without any phoniness. Work was done efficiently, cleaned up daily, and on time. He's a very personable and knowledgeable everyday guy, just out there to make a living and not a killing. I'd use him again in a heartbeat."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Ashland, OR

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
