"This pro provided useful information via a virtual (online) video consultation. Since this service does not send technicians to the home, they did not do the actual work. I am considering whether to order parts and try to complete the repair myself or under their virtual direction."

"The tech (Richard) arrived on time. Diagnosed the problem and made the repairs. My gas oven works great."

"Al was fantastic. He constantly updated me on the status and completed the repairs in a timely and efficient manner. I would recommend AK Home Repair for any appliance service. Thank you!"

"Great service, I called and they were onsite same day to repair our GE fridge. The man who came knew his stuff (he was a 'fridge whisperer'!), was well presented, courteous and was in and out of our house in under an hour with the fridge repaired on the spot! Couldn't ask for better. :) My only complaint is that I was charged over $400 to replace a $90 part (I checked the manufacturer's website). Over $300 for less than an hour of labor - that seems a little over the top!"

"Repair was completed in a timely fashion"

"Justin tested, did not just assume, to determine the problem. Replaced the control board. It has been 20 days since the repair and the dishwasher is working perfectly."

"Darnell was very quick and professional, explaining what was wrong and how he was fixing the problem. Thank you Mr. Darnell for fixing my stove top oven!!"

"It went well, the first appointment had to be cancelled (or changed somehow, I can't remember exactly) so he gave me a discount. He found a piece of plastice that had broken off of something and stuck in the motor. It was a very quick repair, but took two visits as a part had to be ordered. The first "look see" visit was deducted from the total cost of the repair."

"I contacted Schuyler because he had successfully repaired the oven in my gas range two years ago after another company botched the repair and overcharged me. This time I contacted him because my dishwasher was leaking and one of the burners on my gas range had ceased to ignite, despite repeated cleanings. Schuyler came to my house at the appointed time and quickly diagnosed the problems. He warned me that it could take up to two weeks to receive a part from Bosch, the dishwasher manufacturer, and indeed it did. As soon as he received both parts (the rubber seal for the dishwasher and the gas burner), Schuyler contacted me and made an appointment to come to the house to install them. He was on time for the appointment, and he worked quickly and efficiently. He is highly professional, very courteous, and very skilled. He is my first choice whenever I need a repair to a major appliance."

"Urgently needed my fridge fixed as it had stopped cooling and freezing. I received a call immediately and they came out same day. The problem was fixed quickly. It seemed like he knew exactly what he was doing and then some. He was also patient and spoke with my landlord to fill her in. He provided me with the necessary paperwork I needed for my landlord. He also fixed a small dryer issue I was having and checked out that appliance for me as well. Super friendly and would/will definitely use again!"
