"The company replied quickly and gave an estimate as requested. We were quoted for 2 new shut offs and 3-5 replacement shut offs. The plumber only brought 5 fittings, but he gave me the option to run to Home Depot to get more... I was also instructed to replace a hose which wasn?t leaking until after the repair, but it was easily fixed when I suggested to connect the new hose to the pipe rather than to the leaking hose. "We had water damage and so had to replace certain parts of the bathroom, and then decided while we are at it to do a full modernization. Paul alerted us to the fact that some of this cost would be reimbursable by our insurance carrier - and it was - resulting in several thousand dollars of savings that we otherwise would not have.
