"TJ installed three exterior doors in the house I recently moved to. We were suspicious of a lot of rot under the doors, especially the large front door, and wanted to make sure new doors were not just installed, but the entire framing repaired and replaced before new doors went in. TJ measured everything before his estimate (which was highly detailed and accurate) and came back to confirm measurements before ordering materials. He completed the work in the exact timeline he had given us, and was great at communicating over text and phone calls. He found and repaired the rot under the front door, and then repaired and installed two normal sized exterior doors, including our basement door which was a mess to begin with. TJ also had to deal with some not-so-great flooring installation from the previous owners, and he made it work. The floor looks great, you could never tell there was a 3ft by 5ft section removed and repaired just a day before. With TJ's help, we were able to custom order the exact door style we wanted, and he helped us with some design and materials choices. The house has been given an incredible facelift, and I feel so much better knowing the doors are safe and sturdy. TJ was extremely courteous and thoughtful in his work. He left the work area and property looking immaculate each day he worked with us. He was also very conscientious with our dog, which I appreciated. I have received massive compliments on all the doors, and will be working with TJ again for our deck this summer. We signed the contract with confidence and excitement because TJ's results are very professional and will certainly last a lifetime."

"Beto (Humberto Morais) Beto built a staircase and replaced and my home soffits. He explained the work he was doing and completed the work on the exact days he told me. He built the stairs very strong with excellent heavy duty wood. He also replaced all the roof soffits and made repairs as needed. I have already received complements on the work he has done and the looks of it. The price was very reasonable also. Beto was extremely polite, professional and pleasant working in his job. "I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. "Yes the work was done. The two guys that came put in 7 windows and two big bay windows in one day. They did not even taken a break. They cleaned up the small pieces of scrap. Then one week later they came back and put in two new doors with the same professionalism when they did my doors."

The people (from the customer service reps to the billing to the drivers) have all been honest and realistic with expectations, answered all of my questions and never charged me more than what is advertised on their website.
