"I found mold in my storage room that the previous owner never took care of. We hired Premier Restoration to come out and treat and remove the mold. They were very thorough and did an excellent job."

"I was glad with how fast, friendly, easy it went for me to turn it in and get results quickly. They helped with my Angie's discount so it was good to know i got the best price (less than I imagined) to have this done. The possibility of having mold in a house is stressful enough... glad to have this go smoothly."

"David Moreland came out and looked at the problem I had with an odor and and water leakage I had but could not figure out where it came from or if it was mold. He verified that there was moisture in the walls and and possibly mold. He told me I needed to take about 2 feet of sheet rock off of the wall and he would come back to check for mold. When i called him on Monday morning he came back that afternoon and showed me where the mold was and told me what I needed to do. He was very informative and professional. <br />"

"Josh came out and asked if he could look at what I needed cleaned. He let me know he could do tile floors also so I added those on to the carpet cleaning job. He then went over paperwork, and then told me he was going out to mix up the best formula to clean my flooring. He then just quietly went about cleaning carefully around furniture and took extra care with newly painted walls (without being asked to). <br /> Over the years that I have used Clean In A Wink I have always asked for Ryan, and because the company's turn over is apparently so low, he was always there. But, because he was great also, he has been promoted and working in another capacity. I had forgotten to ask for him this time, and Josh stepped in and did an exemplary job even getting out a carpet stain that I had given up on. <br />"

"When I called for the estimate, they were very responsive... even coming out the very next day. The bid was presented on the spot and was quite reasonable. After getting a few others, we decided to go with Reddi. I called the sales rep who told me to call some woman in the office. I called and asked for her and you would think I was calling the president of the US. I had go through two gate keepers to even get to talk to her. They were rude and acted like they were trying to hid her from the customers. Once I reached her, I paid half down and we agreed on the rest after the installation. She said they would order the materials and be in contact right way to schedule... then the crickets started. So, I called after several days of waiting only to be told I need to call the sales rep. I call him and he tells me that he just ordered the materials and that I would just have to be patient. Then he tells me it will be done on either this day or that day. When they finally came, their work was really good. They did the tear out and set the posts on one day and returned two days later to put up the stringers and pickets. I was impressed with their work and with the materials used. So, I guess it was worth the really horrible communication, etc. I'd use them again, but I would expect to be in the dark and expected to just wait for them to decide to do the work."

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in Augusta, KS

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
