"I can’t say enough good things about Patrick Bernard of Bernard Masonry. He isn’t just a mason, an artisan. He’s an artist. I wanted a brick walkway on the side of my house. Patrick was the second contractor I talked with, and after meeting him I didn’t need a third. He answered every question, allayed every concern and provided a detailed, satisfying bid. I watched as Patrick and his crew – Brandon and Tom – moved methodically from one phase of the project to the next. Patrick put down the bricks in a herringbone pattern. Each brick and part of a brick was placed very carefully and precisely. They had to take apart the fence gate to make room for the excavator. They put it back together better than it was. Patrick and one of his crew were on-site on time every morning and worked til evening. He said it would take five days, and it did. The cleanup was so thorough, there is no evidence they’d been there. Hire him and you’ll have no worries. These guys are good."

"Dustin and Troy came to our new house in Weiser to inspect our roof and talk about its condition and what we might do or not do. They showed up on time, which made me happy. They seemed to be polite and energetic young men. They explained what they were going to do and then they did it. After inspecting the roof, they came inside crawl through the attic taking pictures. They told us what they found and what we needed to do if we want toâ no pressure, no gimmicks, and so far no problems. We decided to replace the roof, so Dustin took us through the whole process of what, when, how much, and did it with a smile! Troy was there to keep Dustin in line and make sure he got it right. Both men were pleasant to work with, and fun to talk to. They seemed to know their business, and as I have been in construction most of my life, I was happy."

"They didn't use real stone and undercounted the number of pillars that needed work and resorted to wide gaps to stretch the insufficient material to complete the job. The resulting work is serviceable but mediocre."

"Wow.  I left a message for Gabriel's on 12/14/2011.  They returned my call the same day, provided an estimate the following day, and the work was was done that same week. I checked the work the following Monday and was very pleased with the way things looked.  The invoice arrived on 12/22/2011 and I paid it online that same day.  How much easier could things have been? If I need a landscape company in Salem again, I'll definitely choose Gabriel's Gardens Landscape.

"Garibay Bros Construction was very professional and answered my questions. They also were able to fix my trim on my house before they painted that needed to be replaced. I will hire them again!"

"They did a great job, the paint job on the house came out lovely. But I took off one star because communication was not this contractor's strong point. My emails and messages were not replied to very quickly, so I wondered if I'd been forgotten about, leading me to nudging them for responses. Also, the people I was emailing and talking to on Angi were clearly two different people who weren't communicating well either, because someone on Angi in my messages told me they'd start on x day, but then, it came time for the arrangement for them to come out and start and the main guy didn't even know who I was when I called the day they promised, which led to a several day delay in starting. Then there came a point where I was told a specific day that they were to do a fix and I was never contacted nor updated about that or another inquiry I had about another job. While they do great work and the men who worked on the project were wonderful, the communication was a bit hard to deal with for me personally. But I do love how the project came out overall, it's just unfortunate that there were these communication issues, because honestly I had considered backing out of the project and felt unsure at first, but decided to stick with them as they were the only contractor with multiple paint options that I liked that I had found. Thank you regardless, for the job you guys did."
