"Ismail was absolutely great. Showed up on time and did everything I asked. Made sure I was happy each step of the way before moving on. He completely replaces 3 gates and matched them exactly to my painted wooden fence. Would definitely hire him again."

"Corey (installer) did an excellent job, and even powered through some adverse weather. He was communicative, thoughtful, professional, and cleaned everything up after the job was complete. The process of getting the original quote was also pleasant. They listened to my requests, offered helpful suggestions and a competitive price."

"The spring of the garage got broken and I called this company to come and fix it. Oren was able to give me a good price for the work and he was able to come the same day for the repair.
It took Oren like an hour to remove the old and broken spring and to install the new one. Oren was honest by telling me not to use the most expensive part because all of them includes the same warranty.

"They were very helpful and catered to the specifications of how we wanted the gate and fence to look. Ron was very involved with the initial planning and construction of the fence. I would highly recommend"

"Mello Welding is terrific. I received a call back and a quick estimate. The work to cut out a rusty section of railing and weld a new section in place was professionally completed on time. I really appreciated how quickly they responded. Very satisfied."

"We interviewed three contractors from different sources, Aaron was not the least expensive but his quote was more inline with expected budget. We hired Aaron and started construction on our new home, demo was quick we were ready for new foundations within a week, then we went into re - framing of existing structure, framing of new structures, cabanas decks, patios, etc. 6 months later we moved into our new home. At every step Aaron and his team were available to help manage expectations and avoid mishaps. Thanks Aaron.

"I had extensive termite damage on a section of my nearly 100 year old house. My stucco is also very unique and I was concerned about a contractor being able to match the existing stucco. ESI did a great job repairing the wall and matching the stucco. Reggie always addressed all of my issues and Barbara was VERY helpful coordinating and responding to my questions.

"Precise did a great job ultimately and delivered a beautiful home for us. We knocked out a wall, did a balcony, put outside stamped concrete in, extended a room, put a new powder room in, redid the stairs, refloored the house, and closed in a room upstairs. We were very prompt with our payments and in return they stayed on schedule. Near the end we made our final payment even though there was more work to be done. Once the owner of Precise found out about the work it was done within a week. We had problems with the air conditioning, plumbing, and other things and precise always came through and fixed it. All of the little details that we complained about they addressed and fixed them. If it is in the contract, you can trust that they will get it done and do a great job of it. Unlike other contractors, they had someone working on our house almost every single day. No excuses. Once they started, they attacked it. The new kitchen is modern and beautiful. They are extremely good at holding your hand through the process. They helped design it and came up with alternatives to make us happy whenever an obstacle got in the way. They worked with us closely on decorating and design decisions. We definitely would recommend them, but do your homework before getting bids. As with all construction, quite a few things came up that required us to spend more money. They way underbid on lighting (underbid by 17 lights), never mentioned that we would need cork (add $4,000)under our upstairs flooring, created situation that forced us to redo backyard concrete to get proper drainage($20,000), killed our backyard grass, ruined part of our sprinkler system, they mentioned they could do a few different design items that were left out of the contract and later re-mentioned as change orders, and we had to pay extra $4000 for relocating a pipe that they missed in the original bid. In their defense, none of the change orders were listed in the actual contract so I was forced to pay the extra amount. My disappointment was that most of the change orders were something that should have been in the original bid. I had to pay for my ignorance. Overall we are still very happy with the Precise staff as people and LOVE our new home. If I was more diligent in the initial contract reading I could have avoided a lot of the issues. I am told by others that all construction contractors do change orders and generate more revenue, but I was not prepared for it and at my absolute limit on spending. This is the only reason we gave them a 4 star and not a five star. Their work and the people themselves are five star most definitely. Cannot complain at all about the actual job itself. They did a fantastic job and were an absolute pleasure to work with . We always felt like they paid immediate attention to us. They made us feel like their only clients. They really made us feel like they wanted to make us happy and meet all of our needs. We plan on doing our bathrooms in the future and we will definitely be having them bid the jobs. We would not hesitate to work with them again. Ultimately after all said and done, you will definitely be happy with their design, construction and finished product. I will let you know that I have already recommended them to two different people I know getting their kitchens and bathrooms redone."

"I'd chosen Dehaven due to apparent cost vs. work scope and the seeming customer care exhibited by co-owner Linda Dehaven, who was my main contact during the assessment and project. Things started well, but deteriorated as soon as I signed and submitted the first payment. Linda was unprofessional and argumentative on the few times I asked for project clarification and especially any requests for re-do (as there were some minor problems ... all fixable).
Since it's been three years since this project, I cannot/shouldn't try to recall exact conversations. The gist of it was my asking for fixes and submitting punch list items as we progressed, and Linda either ignoring them AND/OR lecturing me for being picky and trying to "milk" her of her profits. She also had me paying the crew (very personable and accommodating I must say) personally, versus through her ... an uncomfortable activity for me.
I'm a very reasonable guy, and understanding customer. But Linda was aggressive, and at one point screamed on a voicemail response. She later apologized, via text message, and explained some personal events were going on. Out of empathy I let it go, and to wit this is why I didn't submit a negative review. Now, though, I see that others had similar experiences ... and have some "3 years in quality" results to report on.
The paint and stucco patching has held up well, except for one area -- the area that I'd asked for special attention in my punch list: peeling paint where wood meets stucco in the front of the home. It's noticeable. As this may have not been in the project scope, I will qualify it as "normal aging," and declare Dehaven's work as STRONG. Too bad that Dehaven's customer care wasn't nearly as commendable.
