"The quality of work is excellent.  Unfortunately, their boss directed his crew to ignore the obvious tilt of this old house, and we had to insist that the top of the closet doors be parallel to the ceiling!  He also got surly when my husband and I insisted that we both see the end result before paying him.  I hope this guy reverts to the personality we saw a couple of years ago and leaves the current one behind.

"Within days of purchasing the deal, I received the instructions and paper to draw my table templates. The table has 2 drop leaves plus 2 additional leaves that can be inserted in the table. The templates were pretty easy to draw. The finished pads were delivered in a very short time. They fit the table and each of the 4 leaves perfectly and magnetically lock together to keep them aligned when on the table. A year and a half later, I still love these pads."

"Cornelio and his team did an outstanding job. From the beginning, Cornelio was professional, reasonable, and easy to work with. I stopped by the house almost every day during the 10 week process. Each time, I was impressed by how Cornelio did not take any shortcuts, but rather, made sure everything was done right. The pictures show that the final product turned out very well, but they don't show the craftsmanship behind the walls. Everything was inspected and passed the first time. "I called Juan who responded quickly with an appointment in my home to give a free estimate. He took measurements, explained what needed to be done and then provided a detailed estimate. (I had received other estimates, but they were not detailed and specific.) Before work began, I realized that my baseboards were also in bad shape and inquired if they could replace them also. They gave me a reasonable price on the spot. Flavio and his crew were exceptional. They worked diligently to repair the floor and replace boards that were damaged. I am so happy not to hear the floor squeak anymore and the beauty of the refinished wood makes me smile everyday."

"In October 2014 Mr. Lazo came to look at the task at hand. I showed him what I wanted done and he pointed out a couple of wood rot problems that I had not noticed. Once we finished the walk around, he prepared a detailed proposal - before leaving.
I had also talked with another contractor about the same work. They took several days to prepare a proposal, and when I e-mailed with a specific question the reply I got (from the other company, not George's painting) was not satisfactory.
George mobilized his crew, and they were on the site at 7AM. Because there was rain in the forecast, he brought in a larger crew than original discussed, and was able to finish the job quicker than originally scheduled. The work was great, they carefully cleaned up and  left the house and yard in excellent shape.
I had specifically asked that they not touch one side of the garage because of some carpentry work that needed to be done - I was planning to do it. I was so pleased with the work that they did on the house and the rest of the garage that I asked George to give me a quote for doing the carpentry work on the garage. I liked the price and I decided to have him do it. The carpenter came out today Nov 12th - 7AM again, and took care of the carpentry work and painted it.
I am pleased with the work that George's Painting has done, and would expect to contact Mr. Lazo again in the future if I need interior painting or other painting or carpentry work. I don't expect to be needing any exterior painting.

"Found the piece in a curio type used furniture store in College Park, MD (Peg Leg). It was painted pink. Got it for a great price but it needed restoration. Wilson's quote was along the line of other furniture we had restored over the years. The piece came back looking like new. Apparently under the pink there was another coat of white and it took extra time to strip all the layers. You have to be patient with the process because his time estimate might be off if he hits a snag like he did with mine. In the end we have a beautifully restored antique piece of furniture that looks like it just came off the showroom floor. See before (pink) and after photos."

"They were great. They did good work. They were on time and efficient. The price is right because it’s a special. I paid extra because they needed extra materials. We did have some drywall that they could use to replace but they wanted to use a different kind so they did charge me a little extra for that which I was a little bit surprised but it was alright. I would not use them again because they came from Maryland or some place and one company I use is more convenient."
