"I wrote another review rating Window World with a C. This was because the salesman and people in showroom who promised to get back to me, did not. Took about 8 wks for delivery and first delivery did not go well. Thankfully we said do not destroy old door before we examine new one. The door had two different side lites! We had to send it back to factory and wait a couple of weeks for another one. Kimberly Taylor who I finally asked to deal with exclusively was great. She got us money off our bill for all our frustration and was professional, returned calls and very responsive. The second door looked good except it had a small dent in the base plate. We accepted it anyway with a few dollars off again because we really did not want to wait till spring (It was Dec..&I live in snowy area) so we will live with it. I would probably use them again because of their pricing and quality when right door is sent but I would only deal with Kimberly throughout process. I wish I could give it a B- because Kimberly was so helpful - but can only rate without + or -."

"Had two installer crews come over the course of 2 weeks â  the first crew, led by Phil, did a bang-up job. Demo was quick and efficient and the windows themselves are things of pure beauty. However, there were a few items that were missed â  one in our original sales call, and one after realizing that one of the double-hung windows couldn't be properly locked. The company responded by sending out a second installer team and John and Rich did an amazing job of installing the window lifts we should have gotten with our order, fixing the lock problem on the double-hung window, and smoothing out a few finishing issues on some of the other windows. Amazing customer service and craftmanship."

He installed a heater fan in the bathroom ceiling, repaired two ceiling with water damage, installed a new storm door and repaired en exterior window frame that had multiple areas that were rotting. "We contacted Comfort Windows to make our home more energy efficient as they were recommended by NYSERDA.  The hiring process went smoothly.  The local sales rep came to the house and walked us through the process.  They then sent someone to evaluate our situation and make recommendations.  They then presented us with their proposal and everything was to our satisfaction.  Once we entered into a contract for services with them that ball was dropped.  We were told work would be done in the summer months, when I would be home to oversee them. This did not happen.  Apparently our rep left the company that July and the ball was dropped again.  I had to call many time and was finally put on the schedule for September.  Work was completed when I was not around and not to my satisfaction.   They could not insulate areas of the house because they waited too long and we had already received our pellets for the upcoming winter.  We were expecting rectangular aluminum soffits equally spaced under our roof line and they installed circular ones that are not equally spaced out.  They did insulate the attics well, and the bathroom fan was installed to our satisfaction as well.  The piece of ceiling they installed was cut but just set in there and has since fallen out.   We have had to contact them several times after the installation to come back and correct things and some issues still exist.  I plan to contact them again once the weather warms up so all out heat is not escaping outside.
In Summary:  Comfort was great at getting the sale, but the work performed was fair at best.  This was not necessarily the installers fault as they were not given good directions from their supervisors.

"They are a little more expensive than other window installers but they did an amazing job. They installed all the windows in our home in a day, put all the window shades and furniture back in order, and cleaned everything up before they left. One of the screens had a cut on it and the installer fixed it immediately on site. Worth every penny. The person that did the estimate was very professional and not pushy. Great experience overall. The end result looks wonderful. A true pleasure to work with."
