"Overall, we are quite happy with the results and with Hal's work. He helped with the new fence design and gave good suggestions and ideas based on his experience. He hand selected the wood, planed and sanded each piece carefully, and did the installation. One glitch was that Hal misjudged the variants in the yard slopes, thereby leaving large gaps at the bottom of the fence, however, this was something he corrected (adding boards to the bottom of the fence) after we discussed it with him. He takes great pride in his work and is attentive to most details, providing a high quality finished product. We'd recommend Hal for anyone considering a fence repair/replacement you can be proud of."

"I was referred to Steven through Roger Kelly from Affordable Design and Remodelers. I was very impressed with the ideas that Steven had for our kitchen, and the rest of our dining area. He gave us a wonderful idea that increased the usefulness of our peninsula. The price was by far the best we had seen. He took us right to the warehouse and led us smoothly through what could have been an overwhelming experience. His design ideas helped narrow our choices of granite. The installers were very professional, and cleaned up very well at completion. I absolutely love the kitchen, and I don't know how I ever lived without the deep undermounted sink that was also installed! We just purchased another house, and I will be using Steven again for the next kitchen."

"The estimator was very knowledgeable and explained his products and services very well.  He provided a detailed plan and estimate.
The installation was done all in one day - including removal of the old counter top and the installation of the new counter top - and it was done on the pre-scheduled day.  Sears was excellent at accommodating our scheduling restrictions.  The new counter top looks nice and we are very happy with the result.
There were a few glitches - the garbage disposal leaked and needed service, and it was tough to get an updated estimate when we made a mid-stream change - but we were still very happy with the result.
Note that the Sears office that we dealt with is in Sharon Hill PA, not in Windsor Mill MA as listed by Angie's List, and the corporate headquarters is in Longwood FL.

"Overall it went smoothly. All of the workers were very considerate with the front door, and trying not to let the cat get outside. The three week estimate turned into five weeks, but with a bedroom that old I wasn't surprise (and they warned me to expect a few oddities). They present good options for each item; new bathtub, custom vanity, floor tile, wall tile. And listen to changes I wanted and took the time to understand why. The only thing I would do differently... get a better idea of what they need me to do and when it needs to get done. There was a problem with the granite that was originally selected and it wasn't communicated early enough to prevent a delay in the project. Not a huge issue, and it could've been avoided if i'd been more "hands on". I will use them again for my kitchen. I just hope Angie's List has another great deal when I'm ready."
