"It went great. My contact was Joe who was great to work with from start to finish. The job entailed preparing the existing tape and bed on the garage walls and ceiling to minimize show through, priming the whole garage and then applying two coats of paint. I had decided that I did not want to pay for extensive tape and bed touch-up work to insure no show-thru so preparing the existing tape and bed was very important to me. Joe quoted me a price which was higher than some of the other bids I had but Joe did his best to get the price down as low as possible. They needed to keep their crews working so I think I got the bare minimum price which I greatly appreciated. There were other bidders in the same price range but Joe's knowledge and responsiveness tipped the scale in his favor. A challenging point that I had to work through involved how much show-thru would exist. I was willing to accept a degree of show-thru but arriving at a mutual agreement with the Paint Doctor was a challenge. But Joe came through for me. I showed him some pictures of a garage that had been painted by another bidder that clearly showed the show thru. Joe told my job would look as good or better. That was good enough for me. I signed on with the Paint Doctor to paint the garage and I am so glad that I did. It came out just as expected. Joe advised me in selecting the paint which was also greatly appreciated. The crew that came out to do the work, David and his daughter Anna, was also great to work with. They did their very best to deliver a job satisfactory to me, and they did it. The resulting job looks great. There is show thru but no more than what I expected. When the work was being done, David really laid down the primer (7-gallons) and then two heavy coats of paint. As it turned out considerably more primer was used than estimated so I offered pay for the additional primer which Joe did not intend to mention. But I volunteered since it was the right thing to do. This illustrates how honorable The Paint Doctor is. All things consider, I could not have gotten a better paint job. "I thought it went well. Their project manager Cristina was good to interact with and she was able to schedule in the jobs and got it done within three weeks since the contract and initial down payment was made. There was a minor issue and in that i felt the contractor could have been proactive in taking measures to color match the siding instead of relying on homeowner. After the job was done, the nails were not cleaned up completely around the house. I had a flat tire and I don't think the cause was completely based on them not completely cleaning. I would definitely hire them again.."

"Another great job completed by JB Masters. They replaced my roof & gutters last year and now they completed a complicated painting job on my home. The architectural design of my home presented a lot of detail work & the crew couldn't have been more attentive. I don't know how many times I heard, "We want you to be happy." They also offered great advice on how to paint the trim as this was my first time having a home painted to this extent. My house presented several challenges but the crew was able to handle them confidently and professionally. "First, shingles for TWO roofs had been delivered on top of our double wide. When the two guys showed up to roof the first day, they didn't know why all the shingles were put on one house. I called Wyndhill and asked for them to move the shingles for the 2nd roof down because of the weight. Was told would be done at end of first day. It was not. Second we were told the work would be done in 2 days which turned into 4. There were 2 guys doing the house roof the first day, and then only one guy came for the next three days over a weekend. Our biggest concern was if he fell off the roof, no one would have known. Wyndhill told us they had run into trouble with losing crew etc. and couldn't reschedule more people to roof. We made so many calls to them about why they didn't show up, why materials were left, etc. They did give us the labor discount from Angies and took another $200 for inconvenience but it was really frustrating. The fan they replaced over the master bath which connects to the bedroom chatters with the wind. We asked them to fix it since Oct 4. Never did to our knowledge. They said they would replace it and they never followed up after several calls to them. My husband wound up going onto the roof and stuffing something in it to make the noise stop. Roof looks good. Price was good. Response was terrible. Sorry."

"I cannot say enough good things about Milton and the crew at Peachtree. We noticed a leak from our roof on a Saturday morning. By Saturday afternoon, Milton had come to the house, taken photos, inspected the leak, and had us on a path to repair. By the following Monday, the roof was patched--at no up front cost to us-- and Nick, the adjuster, was taking care of scheduling with USAA for the insurance inspection. The rest of the process went smoothly as everything was handled by the Peachtree crew. I didn’t have to deal with the insurance company at all, though we were kept in the loop and we saw all the inspection reports. Peachtree advocated for our whole roof to be replaced as repair would have been inadequate. They also upgraded some hardware items (pipe boots) at no charge as our original ones had also led to damage inside the house. Speaking of that, Nick was able to have the inside damage caused by the boots repaired and paid for as well even though we hadn’t noticed it initially. Both exterior and interior repairs were carried out on schedule and we are pleased with the results. Milton was onsite during both days of the roof job to answer questions and oversee the progress. I would highly recommend Milton and his team. I am pleased with how easy the process was on my side and our house looks great."

"The process of replacing all nine windows was a very process although it took some time for the windows to be manufactured the turn around time was still very fast. The install crew, 6 of them, were very professional and extremely nice. The windows look wonderful and I'm excited to see how they handle the temps in the house based on seasonal temps outside. "Jose and his team were excellent!  He came highly recommended and he didn't disappoint.  We needed the renovation to start as soon as possible so we could meet the schedule of moving out of our old house.  Jose called and was able to start a week earlier than we had scheduled, which was extremely helpful.
He started on a Monday and got right to work. When I stopped by the house I was amazed at the amount of work he and his team had accomplished in just one day.  Jose posted a list on the wall of work to be accomplished and kept it updated with notes and progress, so we
always knew exactly where he was schedule-wise and knew what expect and when materials would arrive.  Jose also took the time every day to talk to us and explain the progress and what to expect in the coming days.  He always answered all of our questions and made sure we were completely satisfied before he left for the day.
Progress flowed continually and logically throughout the following weeks of construction.  There was substantial progress every day and each member of Jose's team was very polite, neat and personable.  You could tell Jose and each member of his team really took pride in their work and they treated our house as if it were their house. Countless times, Jose told us that his #1 priority was to make sure we were happy and completely satisfied with the work being done.  He knew it wasn't just a job and a paycheck, but an investment in our home and in our

Jose made sure that we were involved every step of the way.  He would often meet us as at a local hardware store to pick out finishes and products that we wanted installed.  When we told him we wanted a particular vanity for the bathroom, he searched all over the city and finally found one in a town 30 miles away!  It was incredible; he literally went out of his way to make sure we were completely satisfied.
We bought our house with an FHA 203(k) loan to finance the renovation.  FHA inspects the house before any work is done, reviews the contractor's estimate of work to be done, and signs off on whether or not the work will be adequate to bring the house up to FHA standards. Once the work was complete, we still had to pass an FHA inspection to make sure everything was adequate.  We were very confident in Jose's work and extremely happy with what he had done, but we were still slightly nervous for the FHA inspection because you know what to expect in an inspection like that.
The inspector came through and was BLOWN AWAY with the transformation of the house!  He was extremely impressed with the quality of work and the care and craftsmanship that went into it.  It was literally like a different house.  The purchase price was about $168K and we got a loan for about $200K to pay for the renovation.  After the inspection, the inspector said the house was absolutely incredible and estimated it would sell for about $250K!  Thanks to Jose's hard work, we basically had about $50K instant equity.
All of our new neighbors have stopped by just RAVING about the work that was done.  Our house went from the ugliest, worst on the block to absolutely the nicest and the best.  Our Realtor who sold us the house was equally blown away when he saw the finished product.  Every single person who sees the before and after are just incredulous.  I cannot give Jose props enough.
He is a very busy contractor, so it may take some time to get on his schedule, but don't get frustrated or upset.  He is busy because he is genuinely nice, honest and really takes pride in his work.  We have recommended him to two friends now and they are equally happy with his work - they thank us for referring him to them.  Any work we may need done in the future will be done by Jose and his team.  We won't ever call another contractor because their work is of the highest quality and they are very competent in virtually all areas.  If they need to bring in a subcontractor, they are very discerning.  We are equally happy with the subcontractors that Jose occasionally used.
Thanks Jose!  You've turned a house desperately in need of much TLC into a home that we look forward to living in and raising our family for decades to come!
