It was a big job which included excavating the front yard, installing a new parking area, rebuilding an old paved driveway, building a large natural stone retaining wall, all new underground drainage, removing ledge and a new 14 X 30 patio. "What a great experience and final product. Eddie and Simon were relentless in finding the perfect stones for the new retaining wall and front steps. Installation was done beautifully and with a masterful eye. They also installed the new railing on the steps, which came out beautifully, too. "Scott did a fabulous job and we are very happy with our walkway.  From the beginning he was very professional.  He responded to our request on Angie's list very promptly, came out within a couple of days to give us an estimate, and told us he would call us at the end of July, which he did.  He stuck with his original estimate, no surprises.  He also corrected problems with the original design by installing tread stones on the edges of the stairs.  It not only looks so much better, but is much more functional and will last longer.  I used to love that all of my flowers covered up my ugly walkway.  Now I don't want my plants hiding the walkway because it looks so good.  It is also secure, and draining properly, whereas the old stones had sunk and collected water.  We would highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for masonry work.  Oh, and I should mention that we got an estimate last summer from someone who never came back to do the work.  He was going to charge us almost as much as Scott, but never picked up on the fact that we were missing tread stones, and his estimate did not include the cost of tread stones.  He was not a true mason like Scott.
