"My wife and I are very pleased with the work done by Matteo, Jose, Vicente and Juan. Matteo presented us with reasonable estimates for the two jobs we wanted done. One bathroom was gutted and renovated. It looks absolutely wonderful now. My wife and I provided the materials, but Matt was helpful in making suggestions. Jose added a control panel that now allows us to control water flow to the other bathroom and kitchen without having to turn off the water for the building. The master bedroom/studio was painted and looks great.. Among other things, they fixed a slanted doorway and replaced a door. We'd highly recommend them."

"What started as a roofing job spiraled quickly into a huge job. Parapet replacement. New skylights. New gutters. The works. Chatel Construction handled every single aspect of the job. Scaffolding , sub-contractor, compliance, permits, etc. In NYC permitting is one of the most difficult obstacles to navigate. Scott was in constant contact with all of my neighbors. He kept them informed and assuaged any concerns they had. He even paid for one tenant’s dry cleaning because their coats got dusty. I found Scott through one of my neighbors who has been using him for his brownstone for decades. I certainly intend to do the same."

"I hired Tanem Construction to fix the mistakes and poor quality of a previous contractor as well as to finish the job. They came to my home, reviewed the work needed to be done to fix and finish the job. The price they quoted was better than I expected. We agreed on a couple of changes during construction which made the job even better. Paul and his dad Gene were a pleasure to work with and the carpenters, tapers and painters onsite were top notch. They always arrived by on time, did a solid days worth of work and asked questions if any issues arose. I am planning more work in my home and I will reach out to Tanem Construction to make that happen."

Israel and his team worked 8 to 5 pm every day including Saturday. Sometimes they even worked later. Israel does top notch work and great to work with. Very professional, good listener, pays attention to details. My kitchen, basement and backyard look fabulous. Highly recommend this company!"

"contractor had to demolish 2nd floor tile porch and rebuild. Involved removing existing railing that was later reinstalled with improvements. Timely completion of work in spite of weather delays. Site area was cleaned up of all debris. At this time some very minor touch up work remain. The contractor coordinator/manager Mr. Jas Singh was professional in his approach. Highly recommended."

"Domenick is a professional craftsman. He kept to a tight schedule, always showed up on time and did a great job. He gave us creative ideas that would work in our space. Domenick and his team were pleasant to work with. From the moment they entered our home they worked a full day and showed up everyday. Domenick enjoys and takes pride in his work. We are extremely pleased with the final result. Our basement bathroom was transformed into an oasis with a spa feel. The main area in the basement and hallway leading to the basement was also transformed into a warm, welcoming living space. The work he performed in 3 weeks was: Build a new shower/tile with a design/create a shower bench/install shower panel/tile behind the vanity with the design trim/install the vanity/move plumbing, gas and electrical for the shower and vanity with light fixture/tile the floor/install a stackable washer and dryer/build out a wall to divide the storage area and heat unit/install a sliding barn door/paint the bathroom, main room and hallway up to the kitchen door/ installed 3 windows, an air conditioner and installed recessed lighting in the bathroom/installed interlocking vinyl flooring in the storage area, main room and stairs (repaired two broken stairs and lots of extras, e.g. installed a lighting fixture in the hallway by the stair landing, a make up/shaving mirror in the bathroom, installed window treatments and assembled a 70 inch TV storage cabinet). We have booked him for future projects. We highly recommend Domenick and his team."
