"My wife and I started a process on a large project for our home. We looked at several options for ideas and quotes on a project for our home. We met with and used Distinctive Design Remodeling â DDRâ in the design process and building of an addition on to our existing house. We were impressed with their products and warranties. We first met with the Senior Sales Manager, Pat in late July for the initial presentation, fact gathering, and showing of their products. We waited for the drawing and cost results. The room was designed and presented to my wife and I to enhance our efficiency, flow look and privacy of our existing home of 17 years. Pat and Jesse presented the drawing plans and cost, all within our reach and the timetable was easy to accommodate. We signed and started to plan to go forward. The financial side was easy to understand and complete. All questions were answered regarding our responsibility, so we agreed and proceeded. On Aug 13th, a catastrophic and historic flood occurred in Eastern KY. The multi counties area effected were hit hard, making national news! Pat, Jesse and Kyle, some staff were affected with this event. We were worried and sorry to hear of this. The communications were good. We were assured all would stay within the timetable and all parties were agreeable. I met with Kyle the site manager and we walked the area, reviewed the underground wires and utilities structures. We made note of a few concerns but all a go. All permits City and HOA authorizations were submitted and completed by DDR. During the construction, the city inspectors came out four separate times in the various stages and everything was good. There were some minor hiccups along the way, but Kyle listened, understood the reasoning and was very responsive. He and DDR addressed and problem solving all and were excellent. We believe there were only two delays, one was natureâ s own plan, the other was a death in our immediate family. The project was only one week off schedule, and I do not even count that. The finished product looks great, the structure is solid and increased not only our living space but $$$ value to our home. It all matched just like it was original to the house. I want to give a special shout out to Kyle our side manager and his crew(s) for being so nice, kept a safe work side, clean and explained things along the way. We would most definitely suggest you check this organization out; they are established, and community based."

Have experience in project oversight, consulting, and good old labor. I enjoy design and engineering challenges, custom built and artistic projects but give the same attention to detail on the plain design jobs. I am probably too honest to get rich doing contract work, but i think that is something to be proud of. Im hardworking and resourceful making me a 1st choice for your next project.. I do consultation and oversight of many types of Contracting and construction jobs. My insight and experience across the board make me a valuable asset to customers who want the most for the money.

"This was a 440 square foot addition with a 240 square foot deck; Jorge finished the project within two months while still providing excellent workmanship. To support this accomplishment, I had to do my part also. Choose materials that were readily available, doors, windows, flooring, lighting, etc. You cannot finish a project in two months if you choose custom order materials that have a three/four-month lead time. This is to say, my expectations were realistic, and I had to enable and collaborate with Jorge so he could help me. Jorge and his people exceeded my expectations. His attention to detail was very good, if we had an issue we would discuss and resolve. Financially this was a huge project for myself and my family. There are a lot of things that can go wrong when you are moving earth, tearing out walls and building something from your imagination and a 2-D drawing. I am very glad; I chose Silver Lakes Construction/Jorge to guide me through this process."

We then asked JS to design and build a screened in back porch for us, with railing and a door, and he did so inside a week and it is very high quality and improves the value of the house. We just recommended JS to do a huge outdoor painting and window repair job on my parents house, and we can't wait to see the results."
