"I've had Wallace Chambers do various plumbing jobs for me, in two different houses in Durham, both built in the 1920s.  The first was in Forrest Hills, where he replaced the ruined galvanized pipes that ran from a second floor bathroom to the basement.  Not only was the work done to perfection and quickly, but he left everything completely clean.  More recently, in my new house in North Durham, he has replaced the sump pump in the basement, keeping the quarter inch standing between the tank and a sewage spill in my mother in law unit at bay---two days before Thanksgiving!  Last week, he figured out how to handle a water leak that has clearly been with this house for years, and he threw in a little extra by adjusting my screen door when I complained about it.  I would call no one else.  He always returns your calls, shows up when he says he will, and does the work with efficiency and care.  And he's nice to pets! <br />"

"After finding this company on Angie’s List we called on a Saturday afternoon with a septic system that was backing up. They came out Sunday morning to pump the tank out to buy us some time until the underlying problem could be identified and addressed. They came back out early Monday afternoon and determined that the sewer line to the tank was broken in two places and was blocked. The sewer line was dug up, replaced and everything cleaned up in 2-3 hours. These folks were very responsive, professional and their services were very reasonably priced. We now know who to call for septic system services."

"I got new counters and an under mount sink installed and the installation did not include plumbing.  My husband assured me he could do the job.  After taking a look at the dismantled garbage disposal and lack of faucet my husband started backtracking on his ability to reassemble the kitchen sink components.  <br /> I called another plumber from Angie's list and explained my situation and he kindly referred Erin given that they would not be able to schedule until the following week.  I called Erin and explained the situation.  He said he could stop by around 3pm to take a look.   At around 2:55 Erin was at my front door with his assistants.  He took a look at situation and evaluated my old components and gave me a quote on the spot and went off and purchased a new garbage disposal and new pipes to reattach to my stack.  Within an hour and a half Erin and his team had the job completed and cleaned ready to go.   He literally swooped in and saved the day!  I would definitely use Erin and his team again! <br />"
