"Legacy Builders just finished an addition and full remodel of our 75 year old home in Mid City and we are thrilled with the work. They helped us update the entire house, while staying true to the character of it. They updated the existing portions of the home (sheetrocking and fully renovating the existing bath and kitchen) so that the look and feel of it all could match the addition of the home, as well as building a covered carport that matched our home and a covered patio. We were nervous about doing so much to an older home, but felt really good about it after starting the work with Legacy. The project ran smoothly because they are great communicators. We always knew where each phase of the project was, what was being worked on, and what was next. They were very honest about what our options were within our budget and were a great resource in helping us get the look and feel we wanted within it. It really felt like we were a team, and like they cared about the outcome as much as we did. Every crew that worked on our home did excellent work, and were also professional and respectful of us and our property. "We have two six-foot wide sliding mirror doors for our upstairs closet that have never really slid easily in the nine years we’ve lived here. One of the wheels (that guide the door on a rail on top) broke making it near impossible to open or close. As a home-repair klutz, I knew better than to tackle a deceptively simple job like this. Replacing a wheel on a huge mirrored door – what could go wrong, right? So I called One Man and A Toolbox and asked for our favorite go-to guy – Henry. We’ve used Henry on so many jobs (see our other reviews), always with great outcomes and expert-level workmanship. Henry reasoned that if one wheel was bad, all four wheels most likely needed replacing. He was right. For the first time in nine years both mirrored panels now slide easy-peasy -- with the use of only a finger. Seriously."

"The project went very smoothly from beginning to end. Problems were handled quickly and efficiently. Jason (owner) arrived on time for the estimate, made suggestions when I told him what we wanted, and told us when to expect an estimate (by email). I was very impressed with his knowledge and his manner.  He explained everything clearly  including the possibility that a handicapped shower we wanted might not fit. I agreed to look at other possibilities. <br />      Estimate arrived on time and, because I was impressed with Jason and how he said the job would be handled, we gave him the job. When they arrived to begin working I explained that I had a very anxious dog that did not like strangers and that I would be leaving her when I left during the day. The crew assured me that they would watch out for dog and make sure she stayed in the house. After being there for a day and watching, I knew they would watch out for the dog. I was also impressed with the clean-up each day. It was great--you would never know they had been there. I had heard horror stories about remodeling but I was so impressed. We didn't even have any dust when the new Sheetrock was installed!  <br />      The whole job took three weeks-just what was projected.  David did most of it by himself and he did a wonderful job.If he didn't have something he needed he would go get it so no time would be lost.  He even had time to do a few added jobs-like installing a new garbage disposal.  The enormous molded handicapped shower was installed with lots of maneuvering and effort but it was installed beautifully.  Jason called us with any changes to the estimate so that we were not surprised when the final bill came. <br />      This job was handled  professionally and the crew was great--David even made friends with my dog! I will definitely use this company again!"

"Fabulous.  He added batting around the a/c heater where needed, put batting in the attic access door, and added blown-in insulation to entire attic (it's getting cold outside now!).  Gary was very neat - he put down tarps to protect our new wood floors.  Whole job took just under an hour.  Highly recommend him! <br />"
