"Denny and his guy's at Newimprove Paint & Remodeling Co. where there every morning like clockwork until the jobs were complete. Outstanding communication and coordination. He picked up materials from HD that I'd ordered and absolutely had a game plan upon arrival. The trim carpentry / board n' batten in the baths were beautiful. Real craftmanship. Also gave me options associated with work that involved other trades. In one instance, I was concerned about repairing and/or replacing a couple of walls following partial demo. When they finished mudding, taping sanding (repeat) the drywall was even, consistent and smooth as glass. I hope to get them back in the Fall for some exterior work!"

"Chaz came out every day and did wonderful work.  He figured out an impossible job and got the trim to fit around our built in microwave and solved a problem we could not figure out for months.  Chaz also did excellent work installing a new kitchen sink faucet for us and made it look so easy.  He also fixed many of our closet doors and bedroom doors around the house.  Many of the closet doors had come off the track or would not shut correctly.  Many of the bedroom door latches no longer work correctly.  Chaz did a wonderful job fixing each and ever item we had on our list.  He even figured out how to get an oversized dog cage tray to fit correctly into our dog's kennel.  He spent most of the time working and prepping our deck for staining later this year.  He did a great job replacing some broken boards and securing all boards on the deck with screws.  We are just so pleased with all the work Chaz did as well as the quality of work.  He is very trust worthy and does a great job of coming up with good ideas to solve problems.  We are just thrilled with his work and can't wait for him to come back to finish phase II of our deck when the weather warms up a bit more.  Thanks for the great work that you all do!"

"I had a great experience with Move In Helpers. Kenneth and the team were professional, friendly, and very careful with all of my things. They worked quickly but still made sure everything was handled properly, which really put me at ease during a stressful move. Communication was clear, they arrived on time, and the whole process went smoothly from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend Kenneth and Move In Helpers to anyone looking for reliable moving assistance."

"Glen was very honest with when he would be able to come out, and actually was able to get to the work earlier than planned. The quality was remarkable - before fixing the rotted wood, he had someone come out and extend the roofing a little to make sure it would not create the same issue years from now. After completing the work he followed up to make sure the work was to our liking, and we actually came in under budget. I would not hesitate to use Glen again, or recommend him to a friend."

"Wow I struck gold when I retained Matt to repair my door. He is a super nice guy and very professional. He knows exactly what he is doing and really enjoys his work. He is fast and punctual and wants to get the job done just right or he is not satisfied. I did not think or even imagine that there was a handyman like him  out there,,,he is just top notch. Anyone who retains his services can rest assured that they have chosen one of the best with a vast background of experience. <br />"

"Overall a pretty good experience.  Four young men worked very hard in extremely hot weather moving furniture. There was some small damage done which I showed the workers plus I filled out a survey from the company. I have had no response at all related to this. That is the only disappointing part of the experience."

"We contact this contractor to visit our house to look at some of the random stuff we had going on. The gentleman that visited was very helpful and informative. He looked at our doors, toilets, kitchen sink, and outdoor faucets. He made a few recommendations but was not pushy in the least bit. We were able to get some of the repair fixed in a matter of days and we are very happy with the service Worley provided. We would definitely hire these guys again. <br />"

"Tyler was very helpful in finding matching spindles that needed replacement as well as matching the paint. I didn't have to hunt down anything which was a huge relief. He worked clean, efficiently and was very punctual.  He was also friendly and professional. We were VERY happy with the finished project and pleased with the price. He is definitely someone you can trust around the house even if you aren't there and that is a big plus as well. <br />"

FAQs for shed, barn or playhouse repair projects in Nashville, TN

You’ll know it’s time for a new shed roof if shingles curl or buckle, soft spots sag, or water stains appear inside. Moss or other plant growth on the surface is another red flag that moisture has breached the roofing layers. Replacing the roof quickly stops leaks from spreading, protects stored items, and saves you from costlier structural repairs down the road.

Choosing between a flat and a sloped shed roof comes down to climate, budget, and upkeep. A flat roof is cheaper up front, but still needs a slight pitch for drainage. A sloped roof sheds rain and snow more easily, lasts longer, and often needs less maintenance. Weigh your local weather patterns, the look you want, and how much time you’re willing to spend on upkeep before deciding.

A shed roof’s life span hinges on the material you choose and how well you maintain it. Most standard products last 15 to 30 years, while premium picks like slate or clay tile can protect the structure for 50 to 100 years. Regular inspections, fast fixes, and routine cleaning all help you reach the upper end of those ranges and keep your tools and gear dry year-round.
