"We bought a house in 2009 in Stifft Station that had foundation problems. There were several areas that needed correction before we remodeled and moved in. I got several quotes and listened to the responses as well as the prices; I chose Arkansas House Levelers because they seemed honest and the price was fair. Marty and his Dad were lifesavers. Not only did they do everything they were supposed to do (and it has held up, because this was five years ago), they even repaired a couple of other small unrelated problems under the house (no extra charge) because they noticed them. UPDATE: I called Marty last week (8/12/2014) for an uneven floor problem at rental property. He drove 70 miles to inspect it and then called me to say that the structure was sound and the floor was a little wavy because the house is more than 100 years old. In other words, he was completely truthful and lost the chance to make a profit. I am posting this now about the job he did in 2009 because I wasn't a member of Angie's list back then. But he was honest and did good work in 2009 and he is still totally reliable and trustworthy. Can't praise Arkansas House Levelers enough. <br />"

"A superb service experience. SSS was the only company of several we contacted having a real interest in our concerns and a believable solution. Aaron presented a professional, decisive, reasonable, workable plan. Work was done on time, on budget and included a few on-the fly changes at our request, as part of the work. Very very responsive and accommodating. We made it through the early May 2017 torrential rains with success. An excellent experience with a personable contractor and crew. Highly recommended."

"I had 3 piers installed in the back of my house. The piers are suppose to be for a lifetime. There is a split in my brick & that is why I hired them. They fix it once, but now they will not or say they can't fix my split in brick. I'm very disappointed because like I said that is why I hired them and paid 800.00 for each pier. Harold informed me, when he put piers on the side of my house, it should fix the concrete crack inside of my house. Of course, it didn't. I called Rex on 3/6/17, about the brick split/crack but no return call."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Bald Knob, AR

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
