"At first, I was happy with the customer service, very responsive, Great price for job and scheduling was not too bad. The total project took about 3-4 days due to some weather issues and machinery problems. I was expecting more of a 2-3 day turn around. That did not bother me as much as the random holes that popped up after the concrete started to dry. Owner stated that it was due to the delay pack they threw in the concrete to slow down the drying stage so they could pour and shape the area since it was so large. I get that and have heard of this process but when the holes started to show they are the size of quarters and have a rust brown stain around the edge of the hole. I called to get it fixed - waited about two weeks for repair and was told it would look brand new- the holes are still very visible with the rust stain around it and the resin used to fill the holes are a different shade color than the concrete. We are very disappointed since we spent so much money on this project not even to be able to enjoy it for one day of it being perfect. On a positive note- if you want to use this company for landscaping needs I think you are fine. The mulch and replanted grass seed that was placed around the project are beautiful."

"May, 2021. I would highly recommend Barlow Concrete. I am writing this review on my own accord; they don't know I'm posting this. After interviewing 4 contractors, I chose Barlow to make a 22"x 10' patio, front walkway, and driveway border to the property line. They gave me a very competitive price. I chose them because I felt the most comfortable with the project manager, Andrew. Andrew also gave me a construction date that was sooner than later - within 7 business days - and were quite flexible with me, as I had to work through an HOA. The crew was outstanding. Quick, efficient, and left a very remarkable product - including a solution to the driveway edging - which was to build in a curb. They taped everything off and cleaned up the area very well. This company cares. In the early evening, Andrew came by to check the work and my satisfaction with it. That rarely happens nowadays. I am tremendously pleased."

"John was very professional.  Had to come out 3 times over the course of a year.  Every time I was ready to start the project, something else broke in our 76 year old house and I had to delay.  John showed endless patience with us.  When we finally agreed on a price and start date, the weather was not cooperating.  It took more than a month to start, we had so much rain. <br> <br>Once the crew arrived, they were very polite and professional.  They introduced themselves and went to work.  They worked methodically and kept us apprised of developments.  Our sidewalk turned out to much thicker than estimated.  John had to bring a bigger jackhammer to deal with it.  The whole job took about a week of time, broken up by a few rainy days. <br> <br>The crew took such care to put back the sod they had to cut out to put the forms in.  They made sure all the gaps were filled in and the lawn was level with the new sidewalk. Then they pressure washed everything included the street to remove any pebbles and dirt. <br> <br>We are very happy with our new steps and sidewalks.  John took the time to call me and tell me how to care for the concrete in the first few years of ownership.  He told me that most homeowners can DYI it, although he could perform the work.  Even schooled me in the proper type of sealant to purchase and how to apply it. <br> <br> <br> <br>  <br> <br> <br>"

"The estimator, Dennis accommodated my scheduling requests, and changes in the contract, he was there as well, when the resurfacing started. My driveway needed a specific piece of machinery; so they used their subcontractor, which was excellent too. F&M came back 3 days later, backfilled, mulch, and seeded the bare spots, then a rep came by to check on the finished project. I love the look of my driveway now and would recommend F&M to friends and family!"

"If I could give an A+ rating in all above categories, I would do so. Our rough, ugly unfinished lower level laundry area was transformed into an inviting, functional space and, at the same time, our 1970's bathroom was remodeled and updated with new fixtures, a recessed medicine cabinet, lighting and tile flooring. The owner, Brian was great to work with. He not only designed these projects to accommodate my specific needs and wants, but also had the vision and design skills to make suggestions that maximized the storage and layout to fully utilize every inch of available space. He added a storage alcove and pegboard wall for cleaning and ironing supplies, built a closet to hide the heating unit, and designed and installed a storage wall of upper and lower wood cabinets with a countertop and clothes hanging rod. We are completely satisfied with the quality of the finished work in both areas and appreciated Brian's neatness and respect for our home. He used protective cloths over our floors, and cleaned up construction dust and debris daily. I never expected to enjoy the entire design and renovation process, but I did. Wenkat's owner was reliable, organized and made optimal use of time so the project was completed on time. We will enjoy these renovations for years to come."
