"It couldn't have gone better. I called on a Tuesday, had an estimate Friday, and work started Monday and was completed that day. The team was professional, prompt, and very informative. They fixed my existing French drain and repiped it to run down the side of the house and out the back. They added another drain to the area that collects a lot of water as well as laid concrete to my front porch to prevent water entry. They made sure my gutter drains were clear and hooked up to drain away from the home. It was all done quick and efficiently and when they were done, they cleaned up and explained all they did. "Kim Nelson of Nelson Masonry took on a difficult job that others were afraid to tackle and did an outstanding job. My renovated front entry required that the tile be stained and sealed. Unfortunately, my builders finished the stone on the landing in one color, and the landscape architects finished the walkway in a lighter color. I went to several stone and masonry companies and no one wanted to deal with the problem of trying to redo the walkway. I am, like most people, emotionally and financially invested in my home, so after being told by several companies that they would not guarantee that they could get a good result, I worried about anyone trying to redo this job. I then spoke to Kim Nelson who was very honest about the problems of trying to redo someone else’s work but agreed to experiment with a small corner of the walkway to see if the change was feasible. After testing the stone to see if he could get a good result, he redid the lighter part of the walkway and the results were beautiful. I recommend Kim Nelson for his professional knowledge, his honesty, and his ability to interact with clients. If Kim is busy when you call, he is well worth waiting for."
