"We used Pyramid to install quartz countertops in our kitchen, as well as a sink, faucet and garbage disposal (also used their subcontractor to install backsplash). This review is about the countertops and sink/faucet/disposal job-- we loved working with Bogi and the project came out beautifully. We didn't see the quartz we wanted in the Pyramid warehouse (although they had a great selection of granite and other stones), so Bogi suggested we look at MSI near Dulles. Bogi ordered the slabs we selected from MSI, coordinated the plumber to come when the counter top installers were ready for him, and even had them come back to clean up after the backsplash was installed by their subcontractor another day (he left some spilled grout on the countertop that we didn't notice until after he left.) The workers were clean, courteous and efficient."

"We had a great experience with Granite Works. We contracted our countertop work on July 28th. We feel very fortunate to have met Art. He is very professional and not a high pressure sales person.  He was more of a designer and he took us out to the slab yard helping us find slabs that matched our kitchen design and equally important budget.. We were able to use their sample cabinet materials and coordinate them with the slabs, colors, movement and patterns.  He advised us on the best cuts, edgings, care, etc. Once we selected the granite within a few minutes, Art presented us with an estimate on the spot.  We placed a 50% deposit and the next day the office assistance called us to schedule our on site template. The template process was easy and thorough. It is very helpful if you take your kitchen photos with you and your detailed measurements.  That way your estimate is accurate and Art can help you with balancing movement, appropriate area for seams, if any.  Granite works provided the granite, onsite measurements, sink options, bull nose edging and included all cut outs, plus an Angie's List discount. Our price was $2500 less than a company in  the Mt. Airy. Within a week we had a template completed, in two weeks the fabrication of 2 slabs, and the installation of occurred on  August 9th. In 1 day! We elected to forego their 4" backsplash option and we designed and installed our own. Art's design consultation was very helpful.  After we finished 1/2 the backsplash we sent Art a thank you email with a photo.  He was so surprised and we were surprised and happy 1) he remembered us, and 2) he liked our natural stone tile work.  We recommend Granite Works for quality, professionalism and price.  Good luck and thanks Angie's List. "Architecture Stones were wonderful to work with. They helped us track down a very economical slab of quartzite that fit our space, and had a remnant in their yard, such that together the two pieces would cover our needs. This cut the price down and they were very helpful. They had software that allowed us to view an image of our slab + remnant with the counter footprint overlain, so that we could see how the veins of the quartzite would sit on the counters. We were able to make adjustments to the plan to get more of the veins and into view on the our island. Isaac Shon was really fun to work with and always in a great mood."

Gorgeous finished product and I love how they did the no slip bottom (extra $50) and I loved how they did it- not in strips, it's over the entire bottom). 
There was an issue where somehow some peeling started on the floor. They came out and redid it for free! Awesome customer service. Looks better than the first time too!

"Very professional work, great pride in their craftsmanship.  Company president took me to several granite distributors and helped select a beautiful slab of granite, which was cut and installed in my kitchen.  I am very pleased with the results.  The price was a little higher than some companies, but worth it for a hassle free job well done.

"We used KBR to create a master bathroom and laundry room upstairs, update our downstairs powder room vanity, and remove the old laundry closet the separated our kitchen and living areas downstairs. 

Master Bathroom/Laundry: We turned a small bedroom into a master bathroom and adjoined it to the previous (very small) master bathroom, which we turned into a laundry area. We loved the design and felt like Cathy, our designer, really listened to what our needs and wants were and also didn't try to over-sell us on any features. She came up with a beautiful AND functional design. The work itself went very well. The KBR crew was very professional and communicated well with us  on status and any questions. The only problem we had was with the granite delivery: they were rude and unprofessional and showed up at 7pm un-announced. However, this was a KBR sub-contractor (not KBR themselves) and when I notified KBR of the issue they apologized and spoke with the sub-contractor. Overall, we are thrilled with the quality of the work and the way in which it was performed!

Downstairs: We had KBR replace an old vanity in our powder room. We also had them remove the closet that previously housed our washer and dryer, in order to create an open space from our kitchen to our living area. They also did a great job with this work, everything looks great!

Overall, we would definitely recommend KBR and use them again!"

"I would recommend this company for doing resurfacing. I was particularly pleased with the results on wall tiles around our bathtub that would have otherwise have been very costly to remove and replace. The company was very responsive.

"This company is a pleasure to work with. The owner has over 18 years experience installing granite and marble. From the free estimate, to the selection of the stone at the showroom, to the communication on the phone all the employees were polite and knowledgeable. All phone calls were returned promptly. The price quoted was the price paid and there was no tax added. When I had a question during the day of the install the owner came to my house and answered my question to my satisfaction. All workers have been with the company for 5 years plus so no worries about incompetancy or poor work ethic.  They were very careful not to damage my hardwork floors or anything else. They vacuumed and wiped everything clean before they left. The owner checked the job before I paid for the work. I would recommend anyone to use this company. Others may advertise a lower price, but Flintstone is the best in my opinion. They feel more like family than installers to work with."
