Get matched with top major renovation multiple room pros in Barrington, RI

"I had recently moved to RI and found many sub-par contractors who gave not so great quotes. However, Flavio was great with me and always worked within my budget to make updates happen. Over the course of a few months, he updated my deck, fully renovated my kitchen, re-shaped my laundry room, and gave me invaluable suggestions to improve the functionality of my home. I will admit and say that he is super busy and has multiple projects he is booked with, but if you are willing to be patient, then he is the best contractor in RI. (I've attached a before and after below!)"

"We recently completed a bathroom renovation with this contractor and were extremely pleased with the entire experience. The work was high quality, attention to detail was excellent, and the finished product exceeded our expectations. Communication was clear throughout the project, they showed up when promised, kept the job moving, and were always professional and respectful of our home. Any questions or minor issues were addressed promptly and thoroughly. It’s refreshing to work with a contractor who is reliable, skilled, and takes pride in their work. We would gladly recommend them to anyone considering a bathroom renovation."

"I've personally seen how building or making modifications to your home can be very stressful. In early August of this year, we signed a contract with Ocean Break to demo our old deck and build a new deck/3 Season room combination. We found them on Home Advisor. From day one, the operation was totally professional. Peter Walsh, the owner of ocean break, quickly provided a proper contract capturing the results of the interview that preceded the start of work. The work promptly commenced shortly thereafter. The first phase of the project, the framing, was efficiently completed in a little over a week. Peter is the type of contractor who encourages you to be involved, choosing materials and colors and watching the daily progress of the project. He is happy to go over the work that has been done each day being sure to point out things he thinks you should know. All of the workers were extremely friendly and professional. My wife and I actually looked forward to seeing them bright and early each morning. Peter was extremely patient as we often changed our minds about design features and materials. He encouraged me, a veteran, to personally purchase many of the materials at Home Depot and Lowe's so that I could get my 10% veterans discount. The entire project was completed on schedule and within a reasonable Delta of the original projected price. As inevitably happens, we changed a few things from the original plan which appropriately increased the cost of the project. Peter always reminded us of when such deviations took place so that there would be no surprises at the end. The project was completed a little over a week ago. There was the inevitable punch list at the end which Peter took care of immediately. He even reused the section of gutter that had been cut off the house to accommodate the new room to save us money. With two weeks remaining in the project, Peter gave us a final figure and he stuck to it. So, now my wife and I have a three Season room and deck which we love. and, I'd like to think, we also have a good friend in Peter Walsh whom I highly recommend. One final point. As I watched the final vinyl plank be installed on the floor, without a single plank being ripped, I realized that, because it fit perfectly, the room was perfectly Square. Now that is skill and craftsmanship!"

"Scott & Matt did an outstanding job! They replaced a damaged fan vent and pipe. Quick service at a great rate. Paula G."

"I hired these folks to repair a built-in gas fireplace. This company was very responsive, communicative and prompt. Our tech was Nick, and he was excellent. He arrived right on time, diagnosed the issues, explained them to us in detail and was even able to fix them on the spot. He also did a safety inspection, as our unit had not been used for some time. Following service, he went the extra mile to vacuum up any dust and debris left by service - very much appreciated! Nick was courteous, knowledgeable and capable - I would happily have him back for any future needs with our unit. The price for service was very reasonable and came with a written, itemized estimate."

"They work with your budget. Very kind and respectful."

"Highly recommend! I recently hired Doherty Construction for a major renovation project at my rental property and couldn’t be happier with the results. Dan stood out because of his knowledge, honesty, and fair pricing. When adding a new bathroom to a very old building, he quickly identified a major plumbing challenge that required new pipes in the crawl space. His assessment, estimate, and scope of work were accurate from the start. In addition to building the new bathroom, Dan and his crew renovated an existing bathroom, kitchen, rebuilt stairs, closets and installed LVP and Pergo flooring in several rooms. The quality of the workmanship and attention to detail were excellent. Dan was professional, responsive, and great to work with throughout the project. He was especially helpful in brainstorming solutions and navigating the inevitable surprises that come with renovating an older property. The project was completed on time, and I would absolutely hire them again!"
