In particular, their interior painting and bathroom renovation work were superb.  Other components of the renovation were good as well.

The owner, Frank, was cordial and professional.  As an example, he was well versed in working with the stairway and made good suggestions, while respecting our thoughts.  He even worked with a new subcontractor for the stairway railing and glass that seemed to have the better proposal than the one he usually uses.

The AMS crew members who worked on the basement, stairway, painting and bathroom were courteous and responsive to changes and suggestions.  They also "cleaned up" their work area each day.  They seemed to be a happy bunch, and at times we could hear one of them singing (pretty well :-) while working in the basement.

I suppose the best measure of a renovation company would be whether we would request their services again.  The answer would be a resounding "Yes"!"

"Found the piece in a curio type used furniture store in College Park, MD (Peg Leg). It was painted pink. Got it for a great price but it needed restoration. Wilson's quote was along the line of other furniture we had restored over the years. The piece came back looking like new. Apparently under the pink there was another coat of white and it took extra time to strip all the layers. You have to be patient with the process because his time estimate might be off if he hits a snag like he did with mine. "Great! Cornelio and his team were on time, cleanly, good work, and worked well with my designer and inspector for a great finished product. He completely gutted an old kitchen and half bath and rebuilt that part of the house as well as installing a small deck off the kitchen. This included electrical, plumbing, structural, insulation etc. He installed cabinets, added decorative elements like beams, floating shelves and a rounded arch. He also added a master bath, that was also of great quality. After this major job, I hired him to do a 'face lift' of my existing bathroom as it looked dingy next to the new work he had done - this work also turned out great and freshened up a very old space."
