"As part of our replacing carpet with LVP flooring, we had to reconfigure a handrail with spindles. The spindles had to be removed from the underlayment, a plate needed to be installed, and the spindles needed to be reinstalled. There was some trim work which was needed on the stairwell side of the handrail as well. The really hard part was that it had to be done with very little lead time. Aaron and Bonnie came and reviewed the project with us, talked about our options, worked up a very acceptable quote, and gave us a date for their work. The whole project took them less than a day and was done to perfection. (We were uncertain at the time as to how we would finish the wood, so that was not included in their scope of work.) Their work was precise, on time, and affordable. Watching them work together was a fun side-benefit. Good people. We would highly recommend Aaron Custom Carpentry for projects such as ours. "They removed four foot fence. Replaced it with six foot privacy fence and install the dog door. They are a family team and great from the estimate to completion. They were easy to communicate with. Showed up on time and been worked through the rain. They did an outstanding work. No mess behind behind we are very happy with the result and plan to use them again in the future."

"Larry and the crew finished an approximately 600 square foot basement area including a bedroom/office, main room, and full bathroom. The job did take longer than planned but there were both supply issues and weather issues that slowed them down. The work area was kept fairly clean and they took pains to keep the rest of my house clean and protected throughout the process. I wanted this job done by the books and Larry went through the process of transferring his license to Johnson County, pulling the permits, and scheduling the inspections. The inspector was very complimentary about the work and I don not think there were any findings in any of the inspections, which tells me it was a job well done. We made several changes along the way including adding a linen closet and additional closet under the stairs, and changing the location of one of the walls. We also had to work through a couple of quirks that every house will throw at you but the team did a great job adapting. If I had to be critical about anything it would be inefficiency. There were lot of trips to the hardware store for supplies which may have contributed to the longer than planned job duration, however, that impacts IDC more than me. I trusted Larry and the team with my home and we are pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend IDC for any jobs you have in the South Kansas City area."

The sad that this wonderful young man worked on although it contains Tools looks like a tiny Country House out in the middle of the Woods with cedar siding and trim. That's a beautiful job. Due to lack of equipment we are in the process of complaining the grounds work and water features the shed was a very important garden structure and had to look beautiful and provide a visual asset to the garden."

"The whole process went very smooth.  From the first estimate until completion.  JD is very easy to communicate with, and is very professional, and a man of his word.
We have several estimates on replacing our window and doors.  Wood Rot was the highest of the three by a several thousand dollars.  We choose Wood Rot solutions anyway.  And very glad that we did.  His service and workmanship is well worth the extra money.
WE could not be any happier with our windows, and doors.  And would recommend that if you want things done right, I would pay the extra cost and use Wood Rot Solutions.
