After the replacing the pipe to my house, the water was turned on for us while we waited for the city inspection. Which was nice. However, as I was leaving for work the next morning, a water geyser was shooting up from the work area. I grabbed a wrench, used a screw driver to remove the water meter cover, and searched for the shut-off valve with water up to my elbows and shoes and pants getting soaked. I got the valve shut off. The water kept coming. That didn't make sense to me until the geyser stopped all of a sudden. It was coming from the neighbors sprinkler head, which was missing, which was right in the tug-out trench. I asked the plumber later if they had knocked the sprinkler head off as they were digging the trench and he said no, that it was already missing a head as they had came across it. Well that would have been nice to know. I could have told the neighbor not to run their sprinkler. I could have gone to work with dry shoes. I will give Plumber Near Me Kudo's - they did put their own sprinkler head on the neighbors pipe, which was nice."
