"Mike was on time. Super nice guy, very knowledgeable, and very good at explaining what he was looking at and why. He was efficient, clear-sighted, honest, and highly ethical. He had to tell us some hard truths about a property we loved, and his report helped us in decided what to do next. In the short period of time we worked together, he noted: negative grade (water flowing toward the home); insufficient support joists for an add-on to the living room; cracks in the foundation AND ways in which the siding was pulling apart in corresponde to the cracks; the deck pulling away from the building; an ancient air conditioner; electrical outlets that did not work; a miserably bad room with specific areas of damage; and evidence of leakage in the amateurishly added on loft/attic. "The owner helped us with understanding this new ionizer technology and had to be contacted again about placing them in a better place in the HVAC system to increase ion output into the living space.  The ionizers are a bit pricey for such small units.  They help to kill germs in the home and remove new house construction VOCS, but we were disappointed that they did not remove all of the fumes. One email was not returned, but overall we had a good experience."
