"Great service. My windows were great afterwards. Great pricing. They are a great team. I would recommend to others. I live on the 4th floor apartment building and they did a great job. Personable. Also very welcoming and I definitely will be using this service next time I need windows cleaning. 5 stars! Also abided with the covid regulations, they both were wearing masks the whole service. Service was very good, I had 8 windows and they all look great!"

"Pedro was punctual, polite and thorough in his measurements and discussing options with me on how we could set up the shower glass enclosure. He followed up after our discussion as well to see if I had come to a decision and to answer any additional questions I had regarding the job. If another provider hadn't come in a bit lower price-wise, I would have definitely gone with JCP as my first choice. <br />"

"I wish I could give the company five stars, but unfortunately my experience has not been that great. The loft looks beautiful, truly a work of art. And he even built an altar for my Buddha which I thought it was a very kind and generous act. But I'm not a 100% sure of it's safety. First, there were a lot of miss understanding in sizes, partially because I didn't read the contract as I just trusted the company and the owner. After a few back and forts we were able to renegotiate the sizes where I ended up with something smaller than I had in mind, but didn't have to pay extra. Than there was a problem with the ladder color which did not match the color of the loft and I had to pay his company extra to paint. Later, I found out, that although I asked him several times about making sure that the library sliding ladder was safe, he had placed wheels that doesn't lock. Lastly, two months later, something that looked like two nails, started to pop up on the loft floor which I found out by hurting my right foot on one. I asked him to come and take a look because I was worried since I got hurt and the area was squeaking. His reply was that his worker did not use nails and that he is too busy so he would not come twice since he wanted me to buy the locking wheels from Amazon in order to send someone to replace it. I got hurt for the second time on the nails or staples that are coming up, this time on my knees. I sent him images of my injuries and he still refused to come or send someone to check it out so I nailed them down myself. Finally, after buying the locking wheels, I asked him to come and replace it and to please take a look at the nails or staples that are coming up again and he couldn't send someone for another week or come himself because he was going away for the weekend. Apart from the nails or staples that are coming up towards the entrance of the loft which is an area that is also squeaking and making me worried about the safety of the loft, the job was not left very clean. The mail or staples that been coming up has caused me to damage one of the lofts as neither my neighbor or myself have been able to remove it. Other than that, everything looks great and there has been no issues with the second loft placed on the bedroom."

"After my contractor put up the deck & knee wall Hudson Valley Sunrooms installed my Four Seasons Sunroom to the back of my house, which I'll be using as a kitchen/sitting room.  I am TOTALLY satisfied with the work, and the company.  Chris Smalley and his very capable, reliable, crew did a terrific job... even to the point of taking delivery of the sunroom components at MIDNIGHT, himself, due to an unforseen snowstorm.  After it was delivered, and we could start work, Mr. Smalley and his crew put the glassed roofed addition up in record time.  They came when they said they would, worked hard all day and did an excellent job. It has made a world of difference to my home's appearance, and my enjoyment of same.  As for service... Mr. Smalley stopped by unannounced after the recent Sept. hurricane, just to make sure that every thing was ok... how often does THAT happen?"

"Firm was hired as the General Contractor. The contractual estimate was increased from the initial estimate, General contractor stated this was due to a sub-consultant error. The contractual estimate had a $1,000 error that the general contractor tried to make us pay for. The contractor made numerous errors that he tried to blame on the plans and/or the home owners. On many occasions I had to show him my set of plans for him to concur that he was incorrect. Toward the end he become more verbally abusive. Contractor was eventually fired for abandonment of the project. The following list contains the specific complaints: Not built per contract plans: 1. Foundation penetrations not sealed. 2. Exterior siding installed with corner boards. 3. Apron copper flashing was not installed. 4. Aluminum wrapped fascia was not installed. 5. Mudroom/porch door is not an Anderson door (plans call for Anderson doors). 6. Gypsum boards installed with nails, screws and glue (plans call for screws). 7. Finished nail holes have not been filled and sanded. 8. Door hardware not as specified. 9. Finished floor grout is not sealed. 10. Mud room wall built in wrong location. Other issues: 1. Egress stairs not provided per code. 2. Extensive damage to existing stone retaining wall (not within construction area). 3. Landing not properly supported. 4. Finished wall in kitchen is bowed. 5. Extensive rutting of yard by construction vehicles (not within construction area). 6. Construction debris left within the property limits. 7. Failure to properly protect the non-work zone portion of the house. 8. Potential damage to existing air-conditioning system. 9. Potential damage to existing septic tank pipes. 10. Failure to attend meetings with suppliers. 11. Doors hit obstructions when opened. 12. Requested extras for electrical work required for construction. 13. New toilet was shimmed out of level with wooden shims on new tile floor. 14. Requested payments for work not satisfactorily completed or not completed. 15. Construction schedule was extended from 4 months to 6 months. 16. Failed to communicate detailing issues and scheduling with homeowners."

"Having spent the last two years building a home, the last final, yet key, touch was the front yard. Innovation Construction was recommended to me by my next door neighbors who just had theirs rebuilt by Innovation (they had done their research and met with a few different companies before deciding on Innovation). I knew that I wanted to add a brownstone walkway to my patio, and Ekram had the idea to match the pavers in my backyard but add a black border to match the accents on my house. I can't say enough about the team at Innovation and their professionalism, the quality of their design, their top notch communication, and excellent work product."

"PERFECT! PERFECT! AND MORE PERFECT! <br />  We found this place called Trust Builders, LLC, on Angie's List  (Of Course), and James (people call him Jim) had answered the phone. I called him up on the phone letting him know what the situation was, and how bad it was. Jim did a perfect job with everything that he did here. First of all, this is a very hard working man. I have never seen anyone take out LARGE portions of walls apart, so meticulously, so perfectly neat and with precision skill. The wall sections that were damaged were removed and discarded. Jim gets right down there in the wall, and takes out ALL of the dangerous BLACK MOLD by removing that harmful horror that we lived with for so many years. He was working so vigorously and managed to vacuum out everything that was such a difficult and tedious job. <br /> Jim worked for many hours on his first day at the house, RE-building the beams that rotted out on the first wall that needed work. Everything to perfection. The next and last visit to work here, was just as industrious and he just works his heart out. This guy worked so hard, we felt that he was really true to his word. He gave us a written estimate of EXACTLY what work needed to be done, and to the mark, we paid that exact price. In fact, the verbal price we were quoted at the beginning was higher than what we actually paid, due to the fact that the second wall was not as rotted as the first, and required less work. Jim told us that himself, he didn't mince words or take extra because it didn't require as much work as the first wall. Very Honest, Jim let us know right away, there would be a REDUCTION in our estimate. <br /> ************************************************************************************************************************************* <br /> <br /> I'll tell you something, this guy puts hard work, sweat and strength into his work. Jim KNOWS this business. He acts like a  PROFESSIONAL throughout, he was prompt, and got started almost immediately. He even ran out to get the materials after he was here, showed us receipts for all he purchased, and even left us the extra materials!   I would ABSOLUTELY hire Jim again on the spot. All I can say is, a job like this takes a lot of precision. If a contractor doesn't do the work correctly, harsh chemical black rot irritants could become airborne. He was very careful and we got kicked out of the room to the upstairs (nicely) for our safety. He cleaned every bit of the areas that were worked on, that the area didn't even seem like anyone worked there. Only that it looked so much better. Great Job. If you know anything about carpentry, if it isn't done right, it becomes a real big problem.  The price that we received for all of this work was unbelievably reasonable. VERY REASONABLE FOR ALL OF THE WORK THAT WAS REQUIRED OF THIS JOB. Friendly, Professional, Business - Like, and knows the business. Is there ANY reason to use anyone else? I recommend Jim for this type of work. You wouldn't believe all of the other beautiful woodwork he does. I've seen it in pictures.  Everything as promised here both in work detail and in price.  WHAT ELSE CAN I SAY? AT THE END OF THE DAY, WE WERE EXTREMELY PLEASED. Hire again?  ANYTIME!  YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT  : )     <br /> <br /> **************************************************************************************************************************** <br /> <br /> AND I HOPE THAT WE ARE ALLOWED TO SAY, WE LOVE EVERYTHING THAT HE DID FOR US AND LOVE HIS WORK! <br /> <br /> ********************************************************************************************************************************* <br /> <br /> THIS IS THE WAY WORK AND SERVICE SHOULD BE!  GOOD SERVICE IS RARE THESE DAYS. WE ARE  HAPPY CUSTOMERS!  "

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Baychester, NY

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
