"I needed the fixtures for the bathtub to be replaced. The plumber came and fixed the shoddy job of a previous handyman. He made sure everything was running correctly and I was satisfied. He cleaned up after himself. The price was just a small amount more than quoted, which was expected and told to me prior to him coming. There were some replacement parts that were needed. "We called Joe after 2 different plumbers failed to unclog our drain with snaking and wall needed to be removed to expose the pipes. The estimates they were proposing were to high to even consider. We called Joe and explained our situation. He came the same day to assess the situation and gave us reasonable estimate. He came back next day and solved our problem without any extra charges over the estimate."

"Anji recommended four plumbers. Cassidy was the first to respond on Friday afternoon. One other plumber responded but I could not understand his heavy accent, and he asked me if I wanted him to replace the whole burner assembly. That made no sense to me and I questioned him about it. Suddenly he became "too busy" and hung up the phone. Another plumber didn't respond until Monday morning. Too late. The fourth plumber never responded at all. Cassidy asked if it was an emergency or could wait until Monday. I said Monday. and asked what time? I did not get an answer on Friday. Around 8:30P I called and got an answering service which told me that I wouldn't get a response until Monday because their office closed at 8:00P. I had asked about what time on Monday before 6:00P George arrived Monday morning. He was friendly. He knew what he was doing. He replaced the thermocouple. All work was done neatly and professionally. We have hot water again. I'd use Cassidy again."

The needed work was scheduled for the next day. We were kept informed of the anticipated arrival time. Once at our home, we were apprised of what work would be required. John and Zack went above and beyond by helping us with an additional plumbing job after competely completing the needed repair. John also alerted us to a situation that, if left uncorrected, will be a costly repair. At no point did he pressure us or try to take advantage of the situation. We believe John was simply providing us with good service and at a reasonable cost. We also noticed John interacted with his employee, in a respectful manner. It was obvious to us that John was mentoring his employee and imparting his knowledge in a manner that reflected his pride in his chosen profession. We recommend Newburgh Plumbing without reservation and are happy to know that there are still trades people who care about the work they do and want to provide high quality services for their customers. "I called Ray at Polar because my elderly parents had a pipe problem over Chinese New Year. I wanted to make sure they were ok but I wouldn't be there for the repair. Polar was great about explaining the cost structure, giving an estimate for what seemed to be wrong but making us aware about possible complications. They charge by task/fix from a cost book, not by hour. In the end, they were amazing about communicating with me AND my parents, they were on time, clean, polite, and did a great job. The cost book thing felt transparent and convinced us that even if there was a bigger problem, we wouldn't be gouged unreasonably. It was great to feel like I could take care of my parents at a distance because Polar was so reliable."

"There aren’t enough superlatives to express how pleased I am with Scott’s work. Believe me I know how frustrating hiring any service person is. Scott was fantastic. He said he would be here at 9am and miracles of miracles he was! He said the job would take 2-3 hours and he had it done in 2.5. I had him remove and install a bathroom vanity with stone countertop, faucets and large medicine cabinet. It came out beautifully. AND he hauled away all the old stuff and the packaging from all the new stuff. It was like he was never here. As if the bathroom gods just granted me a perfect bathroom.
